The installation went well.
However, now we have some gutters clogged. The MasterShield warranty is advertised as a NO-CLOG warranty.
Portland Purple Water has not responded to my email and phone requests to come out and honor their warranty and clean the gutters. Messages to Jason left on their answering machine have gone unanswered.
I contacted MasterShield to see what they could do about the clogged gutters and they also have been unresponsive.
So... MasterShield gets and F for a warranty they apparently have no intention of honoring.
Portland Purple Water gets and F for not honoring the warranty, for terrible customer service after the fact, and an F for a total lack of professionalism.

WOW! These people rock!
I made a couple of stops at Portland Purple Water before I decided to proceed with the project.
Scott and his assistant were very professional, knowledgeable, and patient. I received a tour of their showroom, where I was able to ask all my questions and receive detailed information about various water conservation systems and methods.
The work at my house was scheduled and performed in a timely manner. The two young guys who came out to do the installation were very polite, punctual and hard working. All 11 barrels were installed and ready to go in one day. The yard was clean of debris at the end of the job.
I am planning on using the water I collect in my garden this summer.
I did not thing I would be able to have all of my barrels full by the time I needed them, but I was wrong. A few drizzly days and a strong 20-minute storm filled up my barrels completely. Do the math: 55 gallons times 11. That's over 600 gallons of water. And it keeps on coming... Incredible! I am so happy to be harvesting this water, use it in my garden, support a local company, and do my part to create a greener planet by using a sustainable resource.
