Awesome work for a very fair price. Our kitchen cabinets were starting to fail and come away from the wall, and he was able to do an amazing repair job that will keep us from having to replace them for several more years :)

The work went very well. We appreciated Phillip's diagnostic skills. He also suggested the most cost effective repairs to address our concerns.

Philip responded promptly to my angie's list inquiry for handyman work. I was afraid the distance from his area to my home would turn him away. it did not. He listened to what I needed done and he comprehended it all well. We never met. We talked on the phone, thru email, and thru text. I no longer live in the state and he was willing to drive the distance and do the work. Very odd list of things I needed done to sell the home. Earthquake restraint. Pressure relief piping off the hot water heater, outlet covers, and install smoke detectors. He is professional, licensed, and insured. I would definitely hire him again and I probably will. I recommend him. Do not let the negative comments deter you. If you communicate with him the two of you should be able to work together. We did from 3000 miles apart.

Installation of Bathroom Grab Bars, and Installation of outside Back Steps Railing: Outstanding experience, would highly recommend them. Define the job well with them: they will listen well, and provide a good solution. They welcomed my inputs for the jobs, which included a detailed paper and photos. Where my ideas left off, they took off splendidly: Both installing the bathroom grab bars, and the back steps railing, needed ultra attention to safe, solid installation, and they provided both jobs, with good looking results at reasonable costs and timely completion. They asked us to test the grab bars and the step rails in their presence, to assure they were completely what we needed. The grab bars installation was on an old wall of lath and plaster, and they found wall studs for solid mounting. I provided the grab bars, they provided the mounting know-how. This took about 1.5 hrs. The back steps rail solution for a short flight (2) of outside cement steps provided a rock solid installation using good looking pipe and 2x4 cedar studs: about 4 hours work. This was a good example of how they completed my idea of what the railings would look like: my idea was a bit hazy! Their work was high quality and innovative, totally working with us to provide a very safe result, that looked great too. They were very polite, listened well, talked over solutions well, until we all knew what the results would achieve in safety and looks. Professional, on phone and on site. The timeliness was good: 1 week between initial contact / estimate to job completion. Job wrap up with us was good, assuring, and personable, Cleanup was good. Cost writeup was very complete: they finely detailed all their labor and material costs, so all was accounted for with no surprises: the total was about $700 less than the estimate! In conclusion this experience exuded real professionalism, know-how, and commitment to the customer; and I will want them here again. I would recommend them to others too.

My business partner and I needed to rearrange our office layout and were unable to remove the panels ourselves. I called PJ's to let them know of our dilemma and PJ's came in on a moments notice, even after hours to help! The gentleman that came to help was very professional, quick and easy to work with. I will be calling upon PJ's for all my handyman services. Once finished I asked what I owed and he just said, "This is at no cost, Merry Christmas!"

My experience with these folks has been excellent. Phillip is attentive, knowledgeable and reliable. Bob & Nick are smart, cheerfully helpful and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely hire them again, for projects small or large.

The team was thoughtful, courteous, and consistently went above and beyond. Due to the nature of the job (lots of separate issues to fix as I prepped my house for sale), we occasionally had some miscommunication; the team always fixed the issue--on their own dime--and made every effort to leave high-quality work behind. They were kind to me, kind when speaking with one another, and unfailing polite and patient. Additionally, they recommended an excellent plumber, as well as an excellent drywall specialist; both finished the job in less time and for less money than any other quotes, and the work was fantastic. They will not rest until the job looks and works just as it should.

Philips came did a good estimate, Nick came do the replacement and masonry tiles work, which turned out nice looking and good quality. Finally Teller came for the dry wall job. They all show up punctual with professional manner and clean out the site as work done. We will hire PJs to do our home remodeling work again.

Guys were always on time or communicated that they were running a few minutes behind (which is more exception than rule). Nick and Bob, one of the PJ's crews, is excellent with amazing attention to detail, personable and polite.. Everything was done on time and as requested and came out looking great. Nick took extra time to be sure some flooring that had to be replaced was done with artistic precision with some extra flooring I had saved (an island was removed from the kitchen). It is pretty rare to feel like company and crew really care about the job, and pay attention to clean everything to restore the original condition they found it in. I am very happy with the outcome of this job and even a little amazed that Phillip took the concept as stated all the way through to completion as I had requested and described. Great job!

went well! They made sure to include me on many choices along the way and repeated back to me what I said to make sure they got it right- good active listening! Pricing for these things are always high, but they priced fairly and were efficient with their time. I had a project on the list that was out of their scope of experience and they told me so instead of trying to fix it and potentially make it worse, which I am thankful for. Will hire again!

By some kind of miracle (based on prior experience with contractors), P. J. actually picked up the phone all 4 times I cold-called him during the process and was ready/able to talk to me. On site, I dealt with his guy Nick who did tile in a previous life; I thought he was really knowledgeable and did a good job. Prices were more than fair, although I think part of that was a first-ones-cheaper A. List deal. There was a little confusion over a cash discount but that could have been my fault. This feels like a small company in a good way.. when I dealt with "Bob" re. my invoice, he deferred to what I had negotiated on the phone with P. J.; you can imagine a bigger outfit could have been more confused.

The guys were SUPER helpful and professional. I've got more for them to do and wouldn't hesitate to hire again.

These guys exceeded my expectations. Complete bathroom remodel of master bedroom; gutted entire bathroom: removed all vinyl flooring, vanity, toilet, mirror, ceiling fan, removed fiberglass shower insert. Replaced with > Porcelain flooring, new vanity with marble top, new toilet, completely built out the shower with mud pan tiled floor and walls to the ceiling with back splash accents and glass shower door, repainted the window frame and replaced the door frame and door. Small group of 3 and they were all extremely polite, professional and continually cleaned up after themselves. I'm having them come back to do our other 2 bathrooms as soon as we can afford it. Note cost was Labor Only, I had previously purchased all the materials, I hired them to install, everything worked out great.

They arrived right on time, quickly understood the problem and after a quick trip under the house and an inspection of the outside vent they knew immediately what was needed to fix it. They made a quick trip to Home Depot (only charging for one man's time) to get the supplies they needed and came back and got to work. Unlike some companies, they do not mark up the parts. They both are very personable. polite and take care to leave everything as clean or cleaner than they found it. This the second time I have had PJ's do work and they will be the first to call when I have need of more work.

These guys are great! Very responsive, and stayed in touch with me so I knew when they would be at the house. They got the jobs done quickly and were so nice!

Absolutely A1. They (team of two) were professional, worked quickly (without sacrificing quality) attentive to details (tightened a toilet seat bolt I'd forgotten to mention), and went the extra mile (noticed a plaque I'd been meaning to put up and installed it). I had a running toilet that a plumber suggested I replace. They replaced the flush unit but had the foresight to not open the flapper package I'd purchased in case it wasn't necessary, it wasn't, so it was returnable. The toilet works great. This alone saved me hundreds of dollars. They patched a hole in the wall, addressed a clogged drain and flushed out the faucet aerator, took a look at another faucet (which will need to be replaced) and installed gutter guard for the whole house (2000 square feet ranch house)! I highly recommend this company.

Excellent! I was so impressed. When I first called them, they called right back and were able to schedule pretty quickly. Bob and Nick arrived on time, and were very polite and courteous. They worked quickly and got the job done much sooner than I thought. I am already making my list for the next time!

Schedule had to be changed a couple of times as they were so busy, but people were friendly and courteous and managed to reschedule each time.

The guys that PJ's Handyman service sent did a great job. They arrived on time, they were professional and the did an exceptional work on the list we had for them this day. When the jobs were completed, they also cleaned everything very well and requested feedback to be sure it was completed as we had in mind. Hands down, I find this company to be 5 stars and we are planning to hire them for some other jobs.

Nick and Bob were terrific! Outgoing, polite, professional and hard-working and eager to please. They were happy to help every way they could and went the extra step to ensure that jobs were done well.
