Paint Removal PRO

Last June I hired Paint Removal Pro to remove lead paint from my front porch prior to hiring a painting contractor to come through and repaint the entire building. After removal of the lead paint from the concrete porch, Diego, the owner of the company, suggested we also have him replace two concrete steps that were cracked, and re-skim coat the front of the porch. The bottom step that he replaced did not set properly and wound up hollow in the center. The total cost for the paint removal and the concrete work was $10,000. It took almost a month to get Diego back out to fix the lower step that had been re-poured improperly, and when he finally showed up, he expressed concerns that his fix wouldn't work due to the high heat that week. Instead of waiting to fix the step properly, in cooler temperatures, Diego went ahead and broke out part of the step and then skim coated it to make the repair. It dried okay but seemed brittle to the touch. I told him I was concerned about it and he said that it would be fine. Two months later we were installing a new dishwasher and the step cracked when the guys used their wheel dolly. No response. Now, 11 months later, the step is crumbling. I've called Paint Removal Pro 7 times, emailed multiple times, and texted Erica, one of the owners, to no response. We have spent a small fortune on this this project and are entirely disappointed in the quality of workmanship from Paint Removal Pro, and now very upset over their lack of response or consideration, especially considering the amount we invested with them to fix this issue. I will never recommend Paint Removal Pro to anyone.

Sloppy work despite daily conversations, paint chips left in our soil, damage to the exterior of our home and landscaping, several missing notices that we found out were legally supposed to be included with any contract over $2,000.
