Kellen, Juan, Carrie and team were great! Easy to work with, responsive, affordable, and great finished product. They did a skylight, framing, and dry wall and there lights with shades include a tax credit. I had some trouble finding people who could do the skylight from start to finish and they handled everything.

A littel scheduling, finding a time that worked for both of us. When they arrived they got to work and completed the installation in a few hours including clean up.

Working with Light Benders was a fabulous experience. They arrived exactly at the time they said they would be here. Pedro and Dylan were both very professional and yet friendly and fun to talk to and work with. It was clear that they like their jobs and are happy with the company for which they work. Job satisfaction makes for great employees! They got to work, maintained a clean environment while working, and had the entire job done within an hour from first entering my house to payment. As they finished, they gave me options for my Solatube, but never applied any pressure or attempted to up-sell the product; they simply wanted me to get what I would enjoy the most and what would work for my budget. I love my new solar tube and how it brightens my hallway! I highly recommend this company would use them again without hesitation. A+

The process, start to finish, couldn't have been easier or better, and I couldn't be more pleased with the end result.  A phone call to light benders provided me all the necessary information and scheduling the install was easy.  Lucas arrived on time and was a pleasure to have in my home.  He worked efficiently and completed the install without issue.  He took time to answer all my questions before and after the install, and even re-caulked two older existing Solatubes while he was on the roof.  I am extremely happy with his work and thrilled at the amount of light I now have in a very dark corner of my kitchen, even on a cloudy day.  I was also amazed at how the Solatube has improved over the years; this new one gives significantly more light than my older ones, (and they are both still quite good and functioning well), telling me this is a solid product.  The price was a bit higher than I anticipated, but I didn't know what to expect when I began this process.  I think their pricing is right in line with the industry standard, and I have no regrets.  Living in Oregon with the large number of overcast days we get, these little bundles of light are a fantastic way to naturally brighten up your home.

This work was difficult to grade. Larry and Tim were very friendly, knew what they were doing, went to work and got the job done in a timely manner. Unfortunately, even though I specifically ask that they do it, they did not put the insulation back in around the installation, leaving about 2 square feet of bare ceiling. If I had not checked and replaced the insulation myself their error could have resulted in considerable heat loss over time. I would recommend them but only if you check all of their work before they leave.

They were very professional and courteous. I have 5 cats and they were very careful that they did not get out or get into anything. They were very efficient and great workers. They were clean and cleaned up after themselves.

They arrived late in the day but they got the job done quickly, efficiently and did a nice job.  I am very pleased.  I am a retired builder and developer and can be very critical.  Light Benders-Solatube did a great job.

I have 2 very reputable contractors and got estimates for putting in skylights. I had wanted 3 skylights installed. We have cathedral ceilings and it was going to cost $10,000.00 each. So I said that would take me to long to have done. I was out in a place in Beaverton buying batteries and I looked at the store that I parked in front of  Light Benders-Solatube. I now have 3 of these solar tubes in my house. I bought the fancy ones that I could put light bulbs in and had a dimmer switch installed so I could control how much sun light would come in. The skylights would have taken about 6 weeks and then I would still have to put my house back together and they installed the 3 solar tubes in 2 hours. You have to have an electrician hook the wires into the solar tubes and it took longer than it took them guys. I have no leaks so far. They have installers and they cleaned up after themselves. They were on time actually I think they were 10 minutes early.

This was my second experience with this company.  A few years ago we had a solatube installed in the kitchen area which made such a difference.  This time Luke and his Father installed one in the hallway, the main bathroom and the stairway leading to the basement, in addition to a roof vent.  They work fast and well together and I am very pleased with the results.  I would definitely recommend them.

Wow, such a difference!!  The bath had no windows so we had to put on a light every time we entered...no more!   Even on overcast days it is lit enough to not have to put on a light in the day.  Turned our "cave" into a light filled room. What a transformation.
 
But I really want to commend the installers, (they may have been a father-son team?)  Anyway, while they were in our attic the younger one alerted us to a potential roof leak problem and suggested an easy fix we could do.  They went above and beyond
installing the tubes.  Thank you!   They were careful in our home and cleaned up any mess and answered any questions with expertise. 
Great experience from visiting the showroom to installation....(hard to find but worth the effort to the installation...they even came to meet us at a shopping center and lead us to the store!)  The showroom helped make choices with the "lightless room"... and then they "turn on" different skylights.  (loved the dogs :-)   Knowledgeable people from start to finish.  No pressure, just good information and service.

This is our fourth experience with Light Benders and each installation has been excellent.  They are prompt, professional, and have a quality product that has made a huge difference in our home.  I especially appreciate that their most recent quote included all the contingencies so that we wouldn't be surprised.  (The final price was lower.)  "A"s across the board.

Even on cloudy, rainy, dark Pacific Northwest days, I am basking in the extra daylight inside my home ever since Solatubes were installed. I downsized recently from a large home in Beaverton with lots of windows and light, so was dismayed when I moved into a one-level townhouse and discovered that what I assumed was a light, cheery home had been due to the realtor having all the lights turned on during the day I toured it. Shame on me for being unaware of that trick! I researched on Angie's List to find a Solatube company. I checked out Light Benders' informative web site. I was particularly  pleased to learn that they have a showroom located in Beaverton, so I could actually see what I would be ordering. Lucas came out to do the free estimate. He was a very knowledgeable and professional young man. What amazed me most was that he did not try to upsell me. I planned to order a fifth Solatube for the hallway. He suggested waiting to see if the extra daylight from the living and dining rooms, as well as the two nearby bathrooms, would spill out into the hallway. There would be no minimal charge for returning later to install only one Solatube. Lucas and his father returned two weeks later to install the four Solatubes. They worked fast and efficiently. What a great team. Lucas offered to bring several different fixtures for me to try since I wasn't sure exactly what would look best in my home. It amazed me that all four Solatubes were installed in less than two hours with no mess or bother to me as the homeowner.

It was an excellent experience! They were quick and on time.

They were excellent.  This was the top of the line product, so it has a premium price and they have a premium service and I was very happy with the whole thing.  It took them all a couple of hours.

I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

Installers were right on time, which was fantastic. they asked where I was thinking of having it installed. I showed them the location. they went to work doing the install. I was told it would take two hours when i scheduled the install, they were done in an hour. the tube looks really nice and I have no complaints with the product or the work involved. when they handed me the bill there was a discrepancy in what I was quoted and what the final bill was. I was told it was because they had to use an extension piece of tubing which is $52. To me whenever there's a change to a bill it should be communicated at that time and not once the job was completed and given as a surprise. Also the price of the optiview lens increased from when I scheduled the install, all told my bill was $80 more than what i was expecting @ $725 for one solatube with no extras other than a optiview lens.
