The initial meeting was great and our son really likes going to the dentist even if the cleanings do take awhile with all that hardware he has! We use their in house insurance program and are satisfied with the cost.

For a person who HATES the dentist (me), Dr. Kirkland and his staff make my visits very tolerable and actually quite enjoyable.  I've been a patient for about 3 years.  Out of the 4 dentists I've had in my lifetime, Dr. Kirkland is by far the best.  He is meticulous, friendly, pays attention to detail, extremely competent, reasonable and honest.  He never makes me feel like a stranger.  It appears that he has the same expectations of his staff.  The office is always clean and comfortable.  They don't keep me waiting-they see me timely.  Office equipment is pretty state of the art.  Some offices will make you call your insurance companies for quotes, but Dr. Kirkland's staff will do all that for you.  I will be a loyal patient for as long as I have teeth!

He was pretty good. He was very professional and very on time. He seemed very confident.

He has been our dentist for the past three years and he provides excellent services.  He takes time for his patients.  He gives enough time between patients and so he doesn’t rush.

He has given me the necessary dental care and has referred me to good providers for things that needed specialized care. He seems available when I need him. He has a nice office. I would use him again in the future.

The staff was professional and courteous. As far as general dentistry, this was about as comfortable is it could get. Great service and care.

A couple of years ago and after some bad experiences with a previous dentist, my wife and I switched to Dr. Kirkland when I needed to have a fractured tooth evaluated. From start to finish, this was a great experience with a wonderful result. I had the tooth removed and then was given a very detailed explanation of all of the options and risks. I chose to have an implant. Dr. Kirkland is a very talented dentist who pays great attention to detail. He is an excellent communicator and has wonderful staff support. I have some friends who have discussed their experiences with implants, and some have had some very bad experiences. Dr. Kirkland's attention to extreme detail minimizes these risks and my implant looks and feels like a real "live" tooth. When I go in for followup appointments and regular checkups, there is no waiting and the work is accomplished quickly and with precision. Both my wife and I are extremely pleased with the treatment we experience in his office.

This is an excellent practice, and I would rate the dentist high. He takes time with each patient and reviews their records. He does not rush through his patients.

Dr. Kirkland always spends plenty of time with me and is very friendly and makes me feel at ease. I tried a couple of others in the area that I was not happy with before finding him. He is especially knowledgeable about TMJ. He did some analysis of my bite and confirmed what I had suspected - that my TMJ was due to an uneven bite caused by orthodontics in my teenage years. (I don't recommend my orthodontist.) Unfortunately, in my case I'd have to get braces again, but I guess for some people it can be dealt with by building up or grinding down a little. If you have TMJ issues, I definitely recommend at least seeing him for the analysis of your problem. And he's a great dentist in general.

Dr. Kirkland appears to take great pride in his work and does a great job; he's very thorough and takes the time to explain what he sees and what corrective steps need to be taken (if any.) Cleanings are done by an assistant, and Dr. Kirkland checks the teeth afterward.

From the start, this has been an extremely positive experience. I was able to download forms from his website and complete them at home prior to my first visit. This was great because I usually don't have all the information I need when filling out the forms in the waiting room. Dr. Kirkland and his staff work together as a team, and are extremely careful to communicate with the patient. They also ensure that you have a written itemized estimate of the cost of all procedures. In my case, I had some options, and understanding the cost and timing of these options, up front, was extremely helpful in planning my treatment into my tight schedule. For my particular situation, I also needed to coordinate work with an oral surgeon, and Dr. Kirkland's communication and planning with the other office was excellent. I'm very pleased with the restorative work Dr. Kirkland has done. The replacement fillings look and feel great. Obviously, nobody likes to have a drill in their mouth, but Dr. Kirkland ensured that my level of discomfort was minimal and was constantly checking with me to make sure I was OK and understood what he was doing. His costs are in line with our previous dentist, and most of the cleaning costs and restorative work were covered by insurance. His office location in Tanasbourne is very convenient with ample parking. His office spaces are very clean and the staff is very professional and extremely pleasant. My wife and I are very satisfied with our change to his practice.
