JL Paint Company

The work was excellent, the house had not been painted in over 20 years. Joe and Shannon came in and did an outstanding job of prepping the house as it needed a lot of pressure washing, paint scraping and caulk work. They put on 2 coats to ensure the quality of the job. I also had some brick that needed to be painted as well as it was very deteriorated in color. They were very punctual and professional. Pricing is always a concern and JL Painting came back with a bid that was under 4 of the 5 other companies I contacted and they were much more involved on what really needed to be done. I would not hesitate to use them again nor would I have a problem recommending them to anyone. Excellent people to work with.

J&L Painting - I hired JL Paint Company to paint the inside of my townhouse a few months ago. I contacted several painters but what made me chose J&L was their promptness and fare estimate. They were great about scheduling and worked with me to select the best date to start the job. They showed up when they said they would and kept me informed as to how much time they needed to complete the job. JL Paint Company was really good about protecting my furniture and moved things out of the way when needed. I really didn’t have to move anything on my own. They did a great job painting my house and were responsive when I asked them to readdress a couple of areas. When the job was done they put everything back in place and cleaned up after themselves. They are very nice family business and people you can trust. A couple of times I had to leave the house and I left them a key in case they needed to leave. They locked up and called me when the left. I would definitely recommend them or hire them again.

I had a project or two in mind for my home. Started out small and developed. I would add or change things as I felt I saw or wanted. They were very good about working with me on changes, discussing with me good and bad about my ideas. Offered suggestions as to how to do it better or differently to achieve my goals. We were totally aligned on the entire project. I did it in sections. Some interior rooms at one time and more work another time as money and time permitted ad they were very understanding of that. I told them my ultimate goals and how I saw the end result and why and they helped me make it better.

They do listen to me. I also listen to them. They are a small husband wife team with some helpers. Not the big companies. They live in my community so I feel like I am helping my neighbors and friends rather than giving money to the big guys.

Good attention to detail. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend them to anyone.

We had our house repainted in the same colors (HOA neighborhood). Communication was very fast, consistent and they answered all my questions with full disclosure. We settled on a price that was higher than most of my other quotes, but I was confident they would take care of my job to high standards.
