H&W Carpets

The buying process was a little overwhelming due to all the choices available, but Marv helped us understand which carpets might work best for our home and lifestyle. When it came time for installation, the crew was quick, clean, and detail oriented. We couldn't be happier with our new space!

The carpet does wonderful things, doesn't absorb and fluids from the animals. I am very happy, they were actually done before they were expected to be done. 

There was two people that came to do the install and it took probably two half days and that was because when people come in to install carpet you need to move everything from room to room.

The guys did a great job and I am very satisfied with the work. This is the second job I have done with them. Family owned and operated which is a big plus for me. Total of about 500 sq feet was installed. 

It went Well, I love the Tile for my kitchen and the laminate for the rest of my basement is great. Customer service is exceptional.

We haven't been very pleased with that. There were two installers. Everything looked good except that there was one seam in my master bedroom that didn't look right. They sent one of the installers back out and he tried to re-glue it. But you can still see that there is a seam there. Already, within just two years, we were needing to get the carpets re-stretched and tacked down, which was unusual. Any other time we've had carpet replaced that hasn't happened. We haven't even needed to get it done five years out. So, I think it was just not the best installation job. The quality of the carpeting is fine. They installed carpets in four rooms. All four rooms are needing re-stretched. The prices were good. The installers were not the nicest of people.

I had the work done while I was out of town.  The salesman was very responsive and professional, however when I returned I was disappointed with the finished product.  The flooring was of excellent quality, but the the workmanship was sloppy.  The baseboards were put back on, but there was a gap between the baseboard and the wall.  They did not do any finishing under the bathroom cabinet, so there was a gap between the flooring and the cabinet.  I had someone else come in to finish the job.  I would not use them again.

WOW!  H & W is large enough to offer tons of quality products in flooring, carpet, tile & countertop materials, but small enough to offer and GIVE personal attention to every detail.  Sales persons gave us expert design advice while we made choices in their showroom. Marvin came and spent a lot of time planning and estimating.  Costs of material and labor were very fair.   Marvin then scheduled the work and his installers really went above and beyond!  Results exceeded our expectations.

Now, we are planning to use H & W again to restore our Kitchen after  massive leak from the Dishwasher.  Just discovered, the  Water Mitigation team had to remove must of the kitchen flooring, half the cabinets, ALL of the countertops and backsplash.  As part of the repairs, our insurance company will allow us to choose a re-do team -- and we'll chose H & W and we KNOW the results will be terrific.

So far it’s turned out great.  They are on time.  They have good pricing and good selection.  I have just what I needed.  I frequently go to Lowe’s or Home Depot to see what they have to kind of get an idea, and then I go to a local company to have my work done.  So that’s why I used them since they’re local.  They provide really great service.  After I picked up what I needed, they came out to the house and they measured and got everything done.  It was less than a week and they were able to come out and put the product in, and so they are very quick too.  I’m going to use them again when I’m going to get the carpets.
