When Jeff Odam came out to do our bid and look over the project, he had thee best demeanor.  He listened to us.  He made some very good suggestions of his own that we had not thought of.  From day one, his goal was to do a good job and to be sure we were satisfied.  His bid was high compared to the other guys, but he actually had every single thing included on the bid-nothing was left off. We had at least 9 other roofers come up and give bids.  Griffith wasn't last for any reason other than that is how it worked out.  All of the other roofers left big items off their bid, they argued with us about what we wanted done, didn't get back to us, didn't know what they were doing when it came to figuring out proper ventilation for the attic, and so on and so forth.  One roofer came out with his bid in hand before he even saw the project.  This is a union shop, so that contributes to the cost.  However, all of the men had worked for the company for 10 years or more.  Also, all but one had English as their first language.  The one who had Spanish as his first language spoke perfect English.  It was sooo refreshing to able to communicate with the work crew as they were progressing as there was a fair amount of questions that they asked of us and we of them. All of the guys who worked on the roof were extremely polite.  Scott, John S., and Mike were the three men who were here everyday, they were awesome.  They cleaned up every day before they left, and you could hardly tell they had been here.  Griffith also has a truck where they dump all of the debris, and that truck drives away every day.  You don't have to have a big dump bin in your driveway 24 hours a day.  They were very careful not to damage property or plants.  They made sure nails were not one one side or the other of the rafter tails.  They paid attention to details. The roof looks great, but the true test will be when the heavy rains come.  We should have enough hot days left to know if the ridge vents are going exhaust the hot air adequately.  We're sure all will be well.

The project was done within the time estimated.  The workers were polite, considerate of comings and goings in and out of the house and cleaned up after themselves on completion.  We had several estimates for this job and, in truth, I was a little concerned about the  bid --- it was low compared to others.  I checked with BBB and found that their rating there was excellent.  They are a no frills company that gets the work done and doesn't engage in pressure sales or "sign tonight" for a cost break tactics.

Can only schedule a window of arrival time instead of making an exact appointment but the contractor was professional, quick, and clean. Office staff easy to communicate with and responsive.

They only thing I do remember was that the guy who came out to bid had health issues and he would get irritable at times as he is diabetic, so at times he was friendly, and that’s why I dint want to go with them this time.

Griffith tore off our old roof, put on a new one and did a great job. Only a little debris. They stuck to their bid that was completely inclusive of everything we needed. They included every detail like moving air conditioner units. They seemed more expensive at first, but because they were so thorough in their bid, they were, in reality, a decent price. The company that delivered the tiles accidentally dropped them on our roof causing some damage to one of the unit ceilings. Griffith stepped right up, took responsibility and had someone come in to repair it back to normal. A unit or two had nail pops (previous nails in the ceiling start coming out due to the work done on the roof - very normal for getting a new roof) and they repaired those right away too. Other companies don't even cover those. It has been 3 months and no problems.

Overall I think Stan prefers to speak to men, even though I had originally placed the call and met him at the house, he chose to only speak directly to my husband. Griffith lost out on this job, we ended up replacing our whole roof with another company...one that actually called us back!

Two other roofers said I needed to replace the roof or that I needed an expensive repair job done. Griffith came and said nothing was wrong. I later found out that Griffith had been in business for a very long time and had no complaints against them. I hired them for another job on a rental. He does a very good job and he is very honest. I will continue to use him.

John came within 48 hrs and fixed the leak. He was very polite and professional. I appreciated the quick work as the rains were fast approaching.

Jeff, the roofer, was very polite & knowledgeable. Strangely enough, it took 6 days for the company to return my call!

On time, polite, professional and exceptional work for the job done!

I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THE REPAIR THAT THE GUYS FROM GRIFFITH ROOFING CO. DID ON OUR ROOF. THE REPAIR BLENDS REALLY WELL WITH THE REST OF THE ROOF WHICH IS WHAT WE WERE REALLY WORRIED ABOUT.

I WAS HAPPY WITH THE PROMPTNESS THAT GRIFFITH ROOFING CAME TO OUR HOME. I AM SURE THAT IT WAS A VERY BUSY TIME FOR THEM, WITH ALL OF THE STORM DAMAGE CALLS, BUT THEY RETURNED MY CALL AND WERE WORKING WITHIN A WEEK.
