Green Belt Cleaning

Jennifer and Jean were very, very nice people and they worked hard, but they were in the house for not much more than 1.5 hours.  Jennifer came about 10 minutes late and Jean about 5 minutes after that.  They worked continuously and used good, environmentally safe products.  They dusted, vacuumed and steam cleaned the wood floors, and wiped down counters, appliances, faucets, etc. in the kitchen and bathroom.  Jean worked hard to clean up the bathtub.  I give them an A for effort.  Unfortunately, the results didn't warrant the expense.
I am picky and, when I clean, I get everything.  Here, after Green Belt cleaned, I still found some dirt on the floors, streaks on the kitchen floor (even after the steam cleaning), dirt under the toaster, dirt under the trim rings on the stove, and generally small pieces of dirt whenever I looked hard.  I don't fault the company, but I know the only way to truly clean wood floors is to get down on your knees and go over it with a lot of elbow grease.  There were pieces of dirt or food that gets stuck on the kitchen floor and you have to simply get down and scrub it off.  That wouldn't be doable in the time they allotted.  So what I got for my $75 was a somewhat superficial cleaning, plus a good cleaning of the tub.  I know if I had taken the time, the floors, counters, appliances, and so forth, would have been cleaner.  Overall, an A for effort but a C+ for results.  (I added the '+' because of how nice they were.)

The 2 cleaners did a deep clean of my whole house.  They had a special steam machine for wood floors; they also vaccumed, dusted, cleaned counters, sinks and more.  They were thorough, fast and delightful.  At the end, everything was sparkling.  And Lil Tweet was fine.  Colleen came by that day to see if any concerns or questions, which was nice.  As far as cost, it seemed it was around $120--I can't remember exactly but I felt I got very good value.   I will use them again.
