a lamp that is old and still functional quit working. called globe and they sent out a repair person. he and quot;fixedand quot; it by attaching it to a $35 extension cord.
that is taking advantage of an elderly woman!

When I walked into the store, I wasn't immediately hounded by sales people, which I appreciated. However, when I was ready for them to help me out, they were right there. Wendy helped me select lights that fit my needs and that also fit my (low) budget. I told her I needed the lights by end of next day and she was able to get the ones I wanted sent from their Portland store to my nearest store (Beaverton) and I was able to pick them up at the scheduled time.
I had the lights installed today and I love them.

The salespeople were knowledgeable and the store, a regional chain, carried excellent brands. They were able to help us find the style we wanted and directed us towards the correct internal components we needed. They were able to supply the items we ordered from their local warehouse and we had them the next day. Their pricing was fair and we were very impressed by the fact that they helped us find the best value in the system components and did not try to up-sell us to the most expensive. Our electrical contractor (Bentley Electric) was very happy with the fact that we went with a good lighting vendor (Juno) and not a house brand from our local big-box home store.

My experience purchasing outdoor lights was very positive.

Lighting seminar very informative and a perfect first step in our remodeling project. I'd encourage all Remodelers to attend such a seminar. All stores in Portland vicinity are attractive and product selection good--not cheap but worth the price. Salespeople in all stores have been friendly, but we found one saleswoman/lighting consultant to be especially helpful. Theresa at the Farmington store worked patiently with us through several revisions of our lighting plan. She provided much useful information as we calculated lumens, spacing, etc.; and she worked through the sometimes tedious details involved in ordering many different fixtures and accessories. Even though the Farmington store is not the closest to our home, our experience with Theresa has been worth the little bit longer trip. After helping us place our multiple orders, she arranged for more convenient pick-up of items at other stores. The staff in those stores also have been friendly and helpful to us.

Theresa was exceptional in giving us information and choices for our under cabinet lighting. We had never had that type of lighting before. We ended up choosing xenon lighting and we couldn't be happier.
