Furniture - Sales
The sales person recommended the bottom and back cushions at the time of purchase of two chairs and wrote a special order for the cushions for the type of fabric selected. The bottom cushions arrived with no apparent problems, but the back cushions had the attachment straps sewn in an incorrect and unusable location. Initially Fishels refused to assist in any way, saying even though they recommended the cushions and wrote the special order, they were not responsible for the quality of the product. All I asked was that they reimburse me to take the cushions to a local tailor to quickly sew the straps in the correct location, Fishels said they would not prepared to assist customers in correcting quality issues locally and would not reimburse me to have the cushions corrected with a neighborhood tailor. They then said they would return the cushions for correct ones which could take 2 months. Ultimately a local tailor corrected the problem at my expense in one day.
