Donna and the crew come once a month. They clean the bathrooms from top to bottom (tubs, showers, toilets, mirrors, floors), the kitchen from top to bottom --appliances, counter tops, wipe down cabinet fronts, shine up the sink, mop the floor. In the bedrooms they dust, sweep and vacuum. In the high traffic areas in the living room, dining room and family room, they dust, sweep, mop & scrub the laminate tile floors.
When Donna and the crew are finished, usually in 75 - 90 minutes, our house is clean and fresh and feels like new. We have a great relationship, and Donna understands what I am looking for in a clean house. I would recommend Donna to anyone who wants a clean house, AND is willing to pick things up before the crew arrives, to make it a win-win for everyone.

The complaints I have with the service have absolutely nothing to do with the family emergency that the provider had. I was happy to reschedule with her. The issue is the work that was done at the house and much much more the response to the problem.
The provider came and did a beautiful job organizing the cabinets. However, the wipedown was not as immaculate as I had hoped. I had expectations of perfection because this was the entire extent of the job I had requested. One had a vertical holder for cookie sheets etc that was completely missed. Before you say it, I will. It was disgusting and filthy and full of cat hair. That was why I hired you to clean it, coincidentally enough. And you had agreed to clean it. After you left, it was still disgusting and filthy and full of cat hair.
I sent pictures by text and got back the response "was it not done? We had a few more min so we cleaned counter areas tv too and micro is this not acceptable?" After you had just received pictures of filthy disgusting and full of cat hair, no it was not acceptable. We texted a while longer and then you said they did not ordinarily clean the insides of cabinets unless everything had been moved out. Then we talked on the phone and you said your helper must have done them. Why that would matter, I don't know.There just was no coherent discussion. Finally, I sent a text saying that I was really disappointed as that was the only thing I had really wanted done. No response.
I suspect the response I will get is that I was told that the provider does not do the inside of cabinets and that when they got to the house they did them as a courtesy to me. To which I will respond - if you were going to do them, you should have done them perfectly. If you don't usually do them and we had some sort of misunderstanding, you should have called me to redefine what you would do. The one thing I feel was not acceptable was to walk away from a filthy disgusting cookie rack full of cat hair and not respond to my final polite and courteous text about it.
"Sorry that you felt this way I thought we discussed all of what happen and we talked last on the phone and settle it, I did respond to you and we had the conversation over two months ago, how disappointing you would not let me come back to fit the problem and we talked about that over the phone last conversation I had with you! seems kinda strange I get a review over two months later."
On July 17th Faithful Cleaning Service came to
?deep clean? our home with the expectation of having a twice a month regular
cleaning maintenance. We have a 2600
square foot home and we are two retired folks that have had twice a month
cleaning service for several years. We
haven?t had a ?deep clean? before but we did move into this house in 2005 and
it was remodeled and repainted at that time, and was deeply clean with move in
readiness.
Faithful Cleaning Service, Donna Madrid, Owner, gave me a
bid of $595.00 to clean everything top to bottom. I thought that was a very high price, but she
promised a ?top to bottom deep cleaning.?
She said outside of all doors and door knobs, over the doors frames, all
the cabinets and appliances on the counters, all the floors would be mopped
three times with a great product, the vents would be cleaned, even the return
vent in the ceiling, the ceiling fixtures would be dusted and even the ceiling
fans would be wiped down with a damp cloth, not just dusted. She said everything, from the top of the
cabinets to the floors. She said she
would not do the windows, or the oven or the inside of the fridge for this
estimate. If I wanted that done, it
would be more. I agreed to pay that
price and signed the contract.
I found a coupon on Angie?s List. It said that if the coupon
was presented before the service, a 20% discount would be given on the ?deep
clean? service. I asked her about it on
the phone. She said ?Oh, I already gave
you a discount when I made the bid? She said, ?Angie?s list did not remove that
and I told them to take it off?. Then
she said ?It was supposed to be for only 10% off any way?. She said, ?I will call them and they will
take that down?. She said, ?I want my
customers happy so I will change the amount to $535.50 rather than the $595.00.
I want you to be happy? So the final price was ten percent off. Since
she said it was the fault of the Angie?s list staff, I told them what had
happened. The same coupon was still on the web site on
the date of service July 28th.
Even though the coupon was only half honored, I was looking
forward to a sparkling clean home. I was very disappointed. The floors were clean, except for my media
room and it had some pretty significant spotting that was not swept or mopped. I
had seven glass things on a shelf, none were washed. The ledge in the kitchen
above cabinets was not touched. Donna said that was ?too big a job and was not
part of the service; that is a ledge not a cabinet'. The intake air vent was not washed, ?just
brushed with a broom?, the sliding glass door frame was not cleaned. Donna said that was ?part of the window?. The guest bath surround was not clean. The bath rugs on the floor had foot prints on
them and not returned to the place where they belonged. The soap dish was not clean. The toilet paper
was wadded on the roll. There was dust
on the top of the door frames. The dish
holding fruit on the table was not wiped off.
The coffee table dish was not dusted or wiped off. There were books left on the bed, rather
than replaced on the bedside table.
The TV had
fingerprints and smudges on the sides and it was dusty on the table and screen.
The crew came back the next day and tried to put things right. They swept and
mopped the floor in my craft room, washed the television, and did ?re-clean? as
I showed them what was on the agreement but not done, except for the things
mentioned above. I definitely felt that I was the ?bad client?. Donna did
mention that it was her ?help? that was deficient not she herself. I felt very
uncomfortable with the entire transaction and that I definitely did not get
what I paid for. I have since employed a different local cleaning
service and am very satisfied.
"When I went to your home you had no idea of any cleaning service and what they do and what they cost, I inform you of what I do in a deep cleaning and this was done for you! I explain on bid the cost was 10% off over the phone before clean and you said you had a coupon for 20% and I honor that, an for the landing on your kitchen I said I do not do those because of the time it would take me to do would cost more, you wanted to save as much as you could, so I kept the price to where it was your in your mind to pay, and that is why you did not want fridge, stove and windows, plus your home had not been cleaned in such a long time by looking at the master bath shower that was full of black mold and your floors were in bad shape, and for your vent I said we dust those and we do not do ceilings at all, You were suppose to come home with in an hour and I wanted to do a walk through with you but you never show up so you call the next day and I went back to take care of the things you complained about, which was the landing in kitchen which i told you that I don't do when I came to bid your home, you complain on a rug that had a foot print on it, two soaps that were together, and there was 3 doors above that were not done and office floor had one black mark! then you kept saying "am I being picky? so sorry if I'm complaining!" on and on you went with how sorry you were, and I kept telling you that I will get all the cleaning done for you so you would be satisfied and before I left you said it was good but for me not to come back on a regular basis, which I was truly happy with that! you did mention your daughter had cleaners and they did not cost as much and did a great job so why did you call me?, I'm disappointed that you would even share such a review as this because I did take care of all your needs in the cleaning and went back to fix the tissue that we made into a flower and you said we stuff the tissue in box and the one in kitchen was done twice, you had not taken price off so the sticker was still remaining, so with that said I know that all my years of business I will run into people such as yourself, very picky! to the extreme!"

enough time to do everything, but that is because have a large house
and only bought the Mother's Day special for 3 hours of work.

"To be honest threw these 15 years I've been in business I've never seen a house such as yours, when you do not vacuum for 3 years and have animals in the home that truly makes it a very difficult job! am glad to hear that you were happy with at least most of the clean, as far as am concern I felt we put every thing back in place except your blankets on sofa because it was full of cat and dog hair, which I felt we needed to vacuum your sofa's so with that said sorry you had to take that long to put the blanket back on, the time frame was as long because there was a lot of dust and hair to go along with that. My suggestion to you would be not to wait so long to get your home clean than that way it won't take so long to clean next time!"
"Sorry but you are mistaken I've been in business for 15 years, and I had to tell the workers where to go to clean and what to clean is all because it was a new home, we only had an hour to get your 3 bath rooms clean which the one down stairs took the most of the time, due to the shower, as far as being in a rush I don't like to rush because the job will not get done the way its suppose too, as far as being on the phone I do have to take calls while am working but have a ear piece so my hands are free, and I don't stay on the phone only to answer questions and call back when am in the car driving to next client. Not trying my make excuses just explaining how I run my business, and glad to hear you were okay with what your spend on the job."
