Summary of Work: New floors, doors and trim throughout the whole house Kitchen: New counter tops, cabinets painted, new hardware, new back splash & new sink Fireplace: Remove old stone facade and hearth, New tile, new hearth, custom stained mantel Painted ceilings, painted other brick fireplace white Results: On time and on budget. There are not enough positive words of praise that I can share to describe our experience with Kayed, Brian, Victor and the whole Evergreen team. We sought a few bids for our home remodel and selected Evergreen because of our immediate chemistry with Kayed. From the very first encounter, Kayed established a relationship of trust and transparency. He took extra time to walk through our house in detail - taking measurements, suggesting design ideas and answering literally every question that came to our minds (we were first time renovators). He gave us a fairly detailed quote for the work, explained the allowances he was estimating and quoted a 5 week timeline. Though his estimate wasn't the cheapest we received, we decided to go with Evergreen because of the honest conversations we were able to have during the estimating process. Once the work began (we scheduled about 2 months out), the relationship with the team only got better and better. Every single person who came into our home treated our home with respect and care. We made the crazy decision to live in the house while the renovation was happening and every night Victor made sure the house was picked up and as clean from dust as possible. Victor consistently went the extra mile for us and was always considerate - he left our bedroom door on until the very last minute for privacy, for example, even though the other doors came off day 1; and just countless other little things like that really helped make the whole renovation a lot more bearable. Evergreen did use subcontractors for some of the trades and I have to say that every sub performed very high-quality work. Evergreen consistently uses the same subcontractors and I got the sense that Evergreen's projects were always the subcontractors' priority. Each sub showed up on time, when scheduled, and treated our house with care. There were a couple minor hiccups in our project (there always will be when remodeling) and for every one, Kayed was upfront, honest and sought solutions with us that worked for all involved. For example, there was a miscommunication around the framing required for the tile on our living room fireplace that resulted in the need for the framing and potentially the tile, to be redone. Without hesitation, Kayed assured me that he and the team would immediately fix the mistake and did not ask for any money from me to cover the additional labor. I truly could go on and on, sharing all of the positive things that happened to help make this a positive experience for us. When it's time for our bathroom remodels, Evergreen will be the first team we call. Thank you, Kayed!

We can't recommend Evergreen enough. Ed spent a lot of time talking to us and clearly explaining all of our options so we were making an informed decision. We were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the overall estimate was as well. Albino and his crew were fantastic. They were professional, always on time, fast, and kept us informed throughout the installation. If we had to do it over again, we'd definitely go with Evergreen again.

Kayed and Shane came out to provide a quote for replacing the roof on a 1949 house; the existing roof was past its useful life and had several layers of shingles but no plywood underneath. Among the 4 bids we received, theirs was not the lowest or highest, but their quality materials and professionalism tipped the scales in their favor. They were able to schedule the job before the heavy rains started, and their crew was outstanding, so friendly and helpful. They thoroughly cleaned the worksite at the end of each day, and upon project completion. Additional vents were added mid-stream and the company owners Brian and Kayed were very helpful throughout the process. The roof looks beautiful, the shingles and flashing are very even, and we have a great warranty in case it's ever needed. We highly recommend Evergreen Renovations & Roofing and hope to use them again in the future for other home improvement projects.

Evergreen renovations was excellent! Their price was a littler higher but their quality and warranties offered made it worth the price. They were low pressure and made sure to explain the work that needed to be done. We needed to fix our venting system in our attic and they helped us choose the best product to resolve the issues. They have financing which made the replacement possible for us new homeowners! Brian was fantastic! He was able to answer all of my questions during the process and kept calm even when I got a little frustrated with a misunderstanding. Very honest company, would certainly recommend.

I am very pleased with the entire experience. The chap who did the bidding was thorough and knowledgeable. The price was in the middle -- I got good value for my money. There were a couple of delays in getting started due to harsh weather, but once things got started, all went according to plan. I can't say enough about the quality of the work crew -- such hard working men, very conscientious, polite, and skilled. The site boss was on top of all aspects of the project, and the company was easy to deal with. I liked giving my money to this company -- I could tell they are real people.

Great work. We love our kitchen and new roof. Kayed and his team were absolutely wonderful from the beginning. He would come over on the weekends to discuss remodel questions and ease our anxiety. We trusted him with our home and we love it.

The guys in charge that we talked to (Brian and Jim) communicated well. The team who did the roof were friendly and professional and did a great job cleaning up. Initially, they did let some tiles fall and sit on plant beds, but there was no real damage done and the clean up was thorough at the end. They also thought the job would be simpler: because of where the tiles got dropped, our narrow lot, steep roof and weather posed some unanticipated challenges. However, they completed the work in a timely way without additional cost. They even patched an area under the roof line, where the chimney had been, for free! We hope to work with them on future porch, window, and siding renovations. The roof looks great.

Evergreen Renovations turned our worn out 90 yr old bungalow in to a beautiful 90 yr old home we are very proud of. We had the kitchen, and baths remodeled and all the walls and ceilings skimmed. With Evergreen's guidance our home has kept it's character, but it's inside finishes look as beautiful as it did in 1924. Through the process they kept in constant communication with us. If a sub contractor was involved they met with them and walked the project with them. We highly recommend Evergreen Renovations.

Overall, very good. I noticed some minor cosmetic issues and told Kayed about them. He came out on a Sunday afternoon and made it right. Very easy to work with, very professional.

We are incredibly happy with the work that Evergreen did for us. Both Kayid and Brian are incredibly easy to work with and make such a great team. The customer service they provide is outstanding. They are consistently on-time, easy to talk to, and always respond with a phone call/email/text quickly. They are extremely accurate in measuring/ordering materials, etc. and have excellent design ideas. They came up with ideas/suggested materials that I could never have thought of. Their attention to detail is amazing and appreciated. They show incredible pride in their work and their company. They are 100% trust worthy, honest, their bids are competitive, and the finished product was absolute top quality. Both Brian and Kayid are simply easy and enjoyable to work with. Doing any type of remodeling can be stressful... but they made it as easy and fun as possible. The next time we have a home project to do, we will immediately call Evergreen. We recommend this company without a single reservation.

Kayed and Brian (and crew) were great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anybody. My kitchen was a typical 1950's kitchen. Kayed came in and made some great suggestions which my wife and I love and decided to go forward. Now my kitchen is state of the art and stunning. I loved working with these guys and will hire them then next time I do any remodeling on my house.

Overall we were very pleased with the company and the final product. They meet with us twice and fielded multiple phone calls before we decided to finally go with them. Pro's: - Great customer service and responsiveness to phone calls and meeting requests - Cost was middle of the pack to comparable companies - Quickly answered any questions and resolved multiple issues as the project evolved - Were on budget with virtually no hidden costs - Scheduled the roofing portion of the project while we were out of town - Worked seamlessly with our bank and their needs for the construction loan - Painters did an excellent job and completed the job from start to finish in 2 days with multiple colors - In house design consultant helped with finalizing our vision (see con's too). - Final product is gorgeous and just as we envisioned Con's - The roofers left a lot of old nails (at least 25-30) on the ground and we ended up with one of them in our tire along with other debris throughout the landscaping - The design consultant did not respond to any of our contact for fixture and other design help after our first meeting - The siding sub only worked 4 day/weeks and some short days so the project was drug out a little bit - 95% of the work was done by sub contractors so it's not exactly Brian and crew working on the project which wasn't our understanding when we signed with them

Great work. We enjoyed working with Brian and Kayed! They are both down to earth and easy to communicate with. If issues came up, they always addressed them. Long story short: We have our addition completed, on budget, and the process was made easier because Evergreen was a good company to hire.

I was in need of a bathroom renovation badly because mine was straight out of the 90's with the huge shower insert with two benches inside. The tile I had on the floor was outdated and I was looking to modernize my master bath. When I set up the first consult appointment it was very spot on with the overall price. I knew (in a contract) exactly what I was getting with no surprises. I had the original shower taken out and disposed of, all new piping with the plumbing, a porcelain tile shower installed with fixtures, a custom niche in the shower, a bench built out of the same shower tile so I could shave my legs or sit down, clear and frameless shower doors, and all new tile flooring installed. The workers were very timely and cleaned up after themselves every night. I got text updates and pictures of how the process was going and had numbers where I could directly talk to whomever was in charge of the project. I always felt like I was in good hands and everyone I met was extremely professional. I loved the fact that I could talk to someone if I had questions and that everyone was so friendly! I would definitely recommend Evergreen Renovations to anyone looking to do home remodeling or renovations. I am extremely happy with the work that was provided and the people!! My roof is getting to the end of its life and I will certainly be using them again for all of my home improvement needs.

I can't say enough good things about Evergreen Renovations. Kayed and Brian are top notch. I literally don't have one negative thing to say about this renovation process. They are honest, thoughtful and respectful and take absolute pride in their work. They are true to their word. When they set an appointment, they or their subcontractors were there when they said they would be. They cleaned up at the end of everyday and did everything they could to try to minimize the disruptions.  Any time there were hiccups that were out of their control (there are always hiccups in a large scale project) they communicated and were quick to advocate and resolve the issue. I can't recommend them enough. My kitchen is beyond beautiful!

It went great!  Complex roof with lots of damage took days longer and used more materials than expected.  Evergreen honored its contracted price without any discussion.  The crew cleaned the yard really well every day before leaving and immaculately at the end of the job.  The crew behaved skillfully, professionally and respectfully and as if they cared about our roof and us.  The on site manager seemed to treat the crew well.  They put in a skylight we are very happy with.  Kayed, Carlos and Brian advised us well about venting, placement of the skylight and an additional oven vent.  Kayed came to the house several times before the project started to answer our questions extremely patiently and thoroughly.  We are very happy with all interactions and the result!

Kayad Sweiss, manager of this project, worked with us to put the plan together.  Sounds simple but I had been stuck on this step for several years.  Once decisions were made, Evergreen gave us a bid, and they stood by it, even though they did a number of extras for us along the way.  We did ask them to do a couple small things for us outside the original plan.  They accommodated us and charged very reasonable amounts for this additional work.  Kayad Sweiss scheduled the project and managed it carefully.  Once the new cabinets were built and ready for install, everything else went together like clock-work.  The sub-contractors came in when scheduled, did their work in a professional manner, and cleaned up after themselves, without exception.  there were no delays because of no-shows or mis-scheduling.  Every concern I had during the process was addressed promptly by either Kayad Sweiss or Brian Bowder, who also worked on the project.  I was very impressed with this whole process.  We absolutely love the results.  We have no hesitation in recommending these people.  The cost of this project was $29,000, plus some items we provided ourselves.  Money well spent.

My wife Karen and I called local roofing company's to get bids to replace our cedar shake roof. Brian and Kayed got back to us very fast. After talking with them about what was needed to put on the new roof and the time it would take. We chose to go with their bid.
We are so glad that we chose EVERGREEN to put on our new roof. They delivered on every promise that they made. Brian and Kayed brought out a fantastic crew of hard working men to take off the old roof and replace it with a top of the line 50 year roof.
The crew was very friendly and worked very hard to put our roof on in 4 working days. The crew cleaned up the work site every night and stopped back by at the of the job to make sure that Karen and I were happy with the work. 
We would highly recommend Brian, Kayed and the team at EVERGREEN RENOVATIONS to do any remodel work for personal friends and family members. That is how pleased we were about the work they did for us.

Great Team of wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable professionals from point of contract to closure of the job. I received bids from 10 companies and choose Evergreen because of the whole teams caring concern for my property and dedication to bring me a quality product, giving the information I needed to make good choices from several product types. 
Evergreen's estimator listened to my wish list, my concerns and then we refined the job to meet my budget. It was a total WIN for both sides, I know I'm very happy.  The crew arrived on time ready to work, very professional in no time at all the old roof was removed the property cleaned up and all debris hauled away. Next the new materials and trim work done the property cleaned of any debris from start to finish.  GREAT JOB,  okay Oregon bring on the rain I'm ready for it now.

We started our kitchen remodel with a big, "I dunno".  Meaning, we knew we wanted it remodeled but had no clue on what the end state was.  Evergreen stepped up and worked with us, with MUCH patience, to provide options and once decisions were made, nail the design and specifics.  The work was done very professionally and when there were some hiccups, and don't be fooled, any large home improvement project is going to have some, Brian or Kayed stepped up and made it right without hesitation.
Brian and Kayed were both very professional and very fun to work with.  Very down to earth guys who really cared about the outcome.  I would highly recommend them and would use them in the future.

There were a couple issues, but overall I was really happy with Brian, Kayed, and their crew.
The biggest issue was that they failed to fully clean up all the trash from installing the windows. We found two pieces of trim from the old windows in our lawn after they had finished the windows, finished cleaning, and left. One of them had a nail sticking up, and my daughter stepped on it. She was fine, but that's a little scary.
I definitely like the quality of the windows and the installation, though. Their price was middle-of-the-road among the window offers we got, but the windows are a higher grade of quality than the other offers.
With replacing the front door, we found out after it was installed that it had some chips in it. About a 1/4 inch x 1 inch x 2 inch chunk or two missing out of it. I guess it came from the door manufacturer that way, and the manufacturer delivered it themselves, so Brain's crew didn't find out until they unwrapped the new door, at which point the old door was already taken out, so there was no going back.
It took ~2 months for the manufacturer to replace the door and for it to be installed, but Brian brought the price of the door, door frame, and sidelight + installation down from $3744 to $2271. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with that, because I don't mind having a chipped door for 2 months if it saves me $1,500.
I wish the trim with nails in it hadn't been left around so I could give them a fully positive review, but hopefully their crew will be more careful about that in the future.
