Don's Air Care Inc.

Called in the later part of October for a gas fireplace repair. He said that it could be this or that. Took my number to call back when he could get to me. Never heard from him again.

It went great. The serviceman, Dave, was punctual and thorough. He answered all of my questions and did a great job.

The first time I called this company was early in the morning on December 26, 2006. The gas company had to come out on Christmas Day to check a gas leak and subsequently turned off the furnace until repairs could be made. Don's Air Care didn't have me on their regular customer list, yet they came out promptly and made the necessary repairs. I had them come back in late September of 2007 to service the furnace before turning it on after summer. Both times, the technician patiently explained everything to me and worked quickly and professionally. My furnace now runs well, and I know this company is there when I need them! Their good service has made me a loyal customer.

Dave was a life saver with 100+ due the next two days. He fit us in on a very busy day after hearing our tale of woe. Within five minutes, he found the problem and disconnected the burnt out sequencer. Since we only would need it to run the furnace, and certainly wouldn't be needing that, he said he would bring by a sequencer next week. AND, he didn't charge us, but will do so when he installs the sequencer. We are forever grateful for Dave!!

I'm very pleased with the work performed and for the suggestion of adding more return air ducting to increase efficiency.

My A/C unit was intermittently working. So I placed a call to Don's Air Care. I choose them out of Angie's list based on the favorable reports that I had read as well as their proximately to my home. I placed a service call last week. David called back within the same day, within a couple of hours and scheduled a date and time. He arrived as promised. David was prompt and courteous. He was very informative on how to maintain the furnace, A/C & electronic filter. He will providing the cost to replace the one electronic unit and filters. I am very pleased with the work. I will be using Don's Air Care in the future for all of the routine maintains and emergency repairs of my Carrier gas furnace & A/C unit. The price was very reasonable for the work performed.

He was very professional and he was very good about telling me what I needed to do in the future. He got it all cleaned out and it was great and my A/C is working well. Now I know where to put my filters. Do not remember cost.

I would call them back in a second. They are very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was going on. Others I have had in the past have been what I call 'messers'. I like the job done right the first time. Highly recommended! I will also call them when I want to purchase a new furnace.

They checked out, cleaned, inspected, and adjusted my 30 plus year old furnace. They said it was in great shape, but gave some advice based on the age of the furnace. I called Don's the Friday before New Year's Eve, and he was at my house on Tuesday!

We first called Generation Heating. Their field service man told us the repair would be about $1000, and they strongly urged a new heater for $3500. I had also called The Gasman, and over the phone they pushed for an old heater not being worth repairing, advocating a new install. Don's Air Care completed this repair and another project professionally and fairly!

I called Don's and was told that they would have an availability in the afternoon. I arranged to get a call at work and I would be home in 15 minutes. I got the call at 2:00 pm, rushed home and a few minutes after I arrived Don's arrived. They assessed the situation, and determined that the furnace simply needed to be cleaned. They cleaned and checked the furnace to see if any additional components might need to be replaced. They determined that everything was fine and after 45 minutes, I had heat again, which was wonderful being in the Northwest. I was extremely happy with the service and have recommended them several times in the last few weeks.

I called them on Monday afternoon. They said they would be out on Tuesday early afternoon. They called around noon on Tuesday to say they would be there in 20 minutes. They were courteous and friendly. Left me with the impression that these are people that I can trust.

My very old gas furnace would not light. Dave came out the same day and found that the ignition module was bad. Next day, he replaced the module.

Our heater quit working on the first day of a cold snap, after a long Thanksgiving weekend. I called 6 companies, before I found one to come out the same day. Don was professional and quickly found the problem. He did a couple extra things (cleaning and sealing), that needed to be done, since our heater had not been serviced in over 10 years. I thought the price was more than fair.

The only complaint is the person was an hour and forty-five minutes late. He did not even call. We called after an hour and were told there was an emergency. The work performed was great. The person explained everything they were doing and was able to complete all tasks in under an hours time. We appreciated his honesty and expertise in explaining the remaining life of our furnace and what we can expect out of it. We would definitely call this company again.

He was on time, did a thorough job and seemed to be very knowledgable about what he was doing.

He was able to get to us quickly, even though it was a very hot summer day and the end of his work day. Very pleasant person to deal.

Don returned my call very promptly and we scheduled an appointment for the very next day! Dave and Tim called 15 minutes ahead to let me know when they'd arrive. They showed up on time and were very knowledgeable and friendly, showing me how to remove and replace my filters, created a solution to extend the life of my burners, and even fixed the vent hood on my water heater because it looked off (which was above and beyond what they were here to do). I will definitely call them back when it's time for my next maintenance.

Called them, and the representative said he would call me back in a few days to schedule a visit for an estimate, 3 weeks later I have not heard from them. I purchased a new high efficiency gas furnace and an electronic air filter through another company that called me back.

Serviceman (Dave) was understanding and very responsive to our needs. Hot weather was rapidly approaching and the circulating fan in our furnace would not move any air. Potentially uncomfortable days/nights were coming. Other service providers were only commiting to a 5 day up to a week+ service response date. Dave came out the same afternoon I called, found the problem and rearranged his schedule to get the replacement motor and replace it the following day. After replacing the motor, he went the extra mile to check for proper operation of both the heat and A/C function. He found a heating problem and fixed it for no additional charge. Great Customer Service overall!!!

The callback was prompt, and he showed up on time. Several recommendations were made on our overall AC system, which apparently is significantly smaller than it should be for our house. The repairman was not at all pushy about having us buy a new AC unit; in fact, he said that with the cleaning that he would do, and a few minor changes, the unit we currently have will probably be fine for many more years. The service was prompt, very reasonable, and we were very happy with it.

I could not even get them to return my phone calls.

I called the company early in the day and they came out the same day to do the job! They were very friendly and courteous and did a great job. The technician also took the time to explain some things to me like how to clean our electronic air cleaner. I was very pleased with these folks and plan to use them for our heating and air conditioning needs from now on.

The service representative was scheduled to arrive at 8:30, but phoned to let me know he would be a little late. Once the rep arrived and began working, he seemed to be thorough and knowledgable. He was also very personable. In the end told me he did not see anything wrong with the system. He suggested I might want to look at getting the blower replaced as it was making funny noises and he couldn't pinpoint the cause. He said he would call me the next week to give me an estimate on my brand of blower. A week went by and I had to call him. He still did not have the info., but apologized and said he would get it to me. It's been close to a month since the service visit and I have not heard from the rep.

A/C quit working so we checked Angies list and chose a highly rated contractor. Gave him a call and scheduled a time later that same day for the service. Tim called 1/2 hour in advance to confirm he would be there, then arrived right on time. He was polite, thorough, and wasted no time. The job was done in about 30 minutes and we were left with a healthy air conditioner. Bravo to Don's Air Care for fair pricing and a job well done. Don's has all our future business!
