If Daniel isn't "Angi approved," he should be. Great workmanship. Good, fair pricing, Took care of the entire job, but also offered ways I could do some of the work and save a dollar or two. He installed 80' of cedar fencing and another 250' of wire fencing. When I wanted to add three more panels months later, he showed up when he said he would and knocked it out of the park. Can't say enough good things about his service and craftsmanship.

Daniel built a fence for me in 2016, and did excellent work, so I hired him again for another fence. The quality is great, and he is very easy to work with, went the extra mile to be sure that things were done exactly as I wanted. He has his own crew, doesn't use sub-contractors. Also offered to let me use his discount for the stain I need for the fence. Two great experiences!

We hired and signed a contract with this company to create and install a custom fence and gate in MARCH. Very basic design guided by the contractor, 7 x 10 feet. We were told it would be about a month for the custom welding to be completed. After waiting over a month we contacted him for an update, we were told adjustments needed to be made to the original plan to expedite the process. When asked if they could at the very latest complete the project by MID JUNE - we were told they could not commit to ANY date for the work to begin or be completed. An excerpt from our last correspondence before I terminated the contract: "I don’t have any eta on the work at this time, since I’m waiting to hear back from the welder, after you approved his request to go with the 3x3 posts, in order to expedite the work. My profit margin is non-existent on this project, so if you wanted to go with a different fabricator, additional costs may be incurred, and the welding would likely not be as good. If you choose to terminate our contract because of the time delay, please let me know immediately, I would understand, and no costs would be charged to you." Overall a BIG waste of time. Poor communication through out the entire process.

Daniel came out for an estimate for new fence and deck. He was very nice and professional and seemed to know his stuff. He said he would send an estimate within a few days and never did. I called the office and spoke with a lady who assured me an estimate would be sent out. Still haven't received an estimate from them. Waste of time.

I have used Daniel before for fence and decking projects. He and his crew does excellent work. This time was no exception. My fence design is not a simple one and might not be done by the big boy companies. Daniel does not shy away from a challenge. His price is very reasonable. This time due to complications he had to start late on our agreed date, but worked until 8:00 pm to complete the job

Daniels Custom fence crew was professional and completed our new fence between my neighbor and me in 2 days. Their quote was competitive and were able to accommodate our project according to our time line. Fence looks really good and solid. They also installed a gate on my property. I would recommend them to anyone for fence work.

Ogden and crew did a fantastic job. Ogden is very professional and a true craftsman who is passionate about his work and has great attention to detail. Very, very pleased with the work and they finished ahead of time.

Dan and his scheduler/office manager Ann were great to work with. They were punctual, communicative, and reasonably priced. We got 5 other quotes!

The removal and replacement work was completed in 2 days. Clean up took another partial day.

Daniel's custom was very professional, provided a written quote and started and finished the project on time. The new fence is very nicely done. We would definitely use them again.

My neighbors recommended this company so I guess their work is good. However, I waited 2 weeks for someone to come out and look over the project. Promised to get me a bid within a few days. Never got one. One of their competitors came out a few days after I called and provided me a bid within a day. I will be using them even though I have to wait 10 weeks given the volume of work they have on the books.

Everything went smooth. Would highly recommend!

Everything turned out great, much better job than our last fencing company. Beautiful workmanship and attention to the small details. They even used stainless steel nails so we won't get rust runs on the fence. Will hire again for our next section of fence.

The job went very well. Daniel and his crew were very professional and they're true craftsman; and, the job took two days. The fence has added more value to our home. We love the privacy. We love how it blocks out the noise from our busy street. I highly recommend their services.

It went great - they even held of the rain til they were finished! On time, worked efficiently, cleaned up everything, patiently answered my many questions. Also they recommended having the side of the fence with the horizontal boards showing facing the yard, as it provided more security, so intruders couldn't use the boards to get a leg up over the fence. It also looks more pleasing that way, to me, so I was grateful for the suggestion. Also price better than 2 other estimates.

Excellent. Daniel was a dream to work with. His professionalism and fairness are impeccable, and his workers are dedicated and highly skilled, and they worked through some brutally cold winter days. I could not be happier with the beautiful big (25' x 8') cedar deck Daniel designed and built, including a beautiful decorative rail. The price included demolition and hauling away the old deck.

We hired Daniels Custom Fences in 2014 to replace our rear fence at the edge of our property.  They did a fantastic job.  We were so happy with their work we hired them again in April of 2016 to replace both side fences.  If you investigate pricing you will discover Daniels has fantastic pricing but he doesn't skimp on the workmanship.  The fence from 2014 looks like the day it was built and the new fences, that he stepped down to match the property elevation, look just beautiful.   They were punctual, professional and respectful of our personal property.  What else could you ask for!  We would highly recommend Daniels Custom Fences.

We are writing a belated review because Daniel has recently made an uncharged repair to some accidental damage. We don't often write reviews but the quality of product, service and follow up deserves our commendation. We would highly recommend Daniels Custom Fencing to anyone that wants superior workmanship and personal attention. Daniel was always available and accommodating. Thank you Daniel.

This is our 2nd fence job done by Daniels Custom Fences, Decks & Construction. They replaced the 20 years old fence (~150 ft) with a new set between two neighbors. Same as the first job which was quite extensive (all-around fence for ~0.3 acres residential yard), we are very pleased with the result. The first job helped us to sell the house within a week with multiple offers last summer. The 2nd job was wowed by the neighbors. We'll definitely use them again if we ever have any fence job in Portland area in the future.

The job went better than I could have hoped for.  The fence looks amazing, but beyond that are the following reasons to consider Daniel's Custom Fencing
1. They were incredibly flexible in accommodating change orders of which we had at least three
2. They had great ideas with respect to how to make the fence look better than we had anticipated
3. The crew was basically invisible (a good thing in my book)  They showed up did their work and left.  We hardly knew they were          there.  Everything was completed in a timely fashion, and the site was fully cleaned up.
This is an easy recommendation to make.
