CAROL JAMESON ESTATE & MOVING SALES

Our parents went into an apartment in an assisted living facility so it was necessary to pack up their house and sell everything. Carol was contacted and told us she'd handle everything, so we agreed and the sale was set and done. After the sale was over, the house was a mess, with much of the stuff still there, in piles, on the floor. She said she was done. She did come back and tidy up, but the mess and broken things was discouraging. One more thing. When she sent the money, her share was deducted as well as $632.00 for "over rings". She said she had trouble with the credit card machine. An itemized sales list was not included, and there was no other information. A gentleman who attended the sale told us we'd gone about this entirely the wrong way. He himself was an estate salesperson and he said it is customary for him to make an offer on the entire lot and "handle everything". (He got a lamp from us for $200.00 and promptly sold it on E-Bay for $600.00). In the future, we will see who Angie's List recommends as the best choice.
