I had been looking into purchasing a new home or a second home, just tentatively and did not want to take up realtors time when I wasn't ready to list or buy (My Father was a broker and I know how he hated to be used). I was upfront with them about not being near a decision about selling or buying, but that didn't stop Carol from wanting to come out and look over the place. But instead of trying to sell me on listing or anything else, SHE HELPED, ADVISED, and invested her time with absolutely no guarantee that anything further would come of it. I know what a good Broker should do, but she has already passed that line and she isn't my broker. Please don't take advantage of any Broker, be as honest with them as they are with you. If you don't feel comfortable, change listing agents when the specified time has elapsed, but try the Hoag's and feel at ease with the truth for once!
