They have done work for us a couple of times. I feel comfortable around them. I trust their workmanship.

Our master Gardner referred us to Charles and his company. He bid our which was extensive on our quarter acre lot. It is on a hill. We worked with Charles to arrive at a bid price which included the essentials for the yard and within our budget. Our designer divided the work into to stages and the bid was reasonable for the first stage. Plus we liked Charles because he listened to our needs and we expected he would work with us to achieve a nice result. He made recommendations which we liked and improved the overall look of the yard. In the first phase his crew cleared the upper yard, shore up the plants to be relocated, dug out areas for paths, hauled many tons of gravel and tons of grey basalt rock down to the yard. They built a beautiful seating circle with Guardian stones and a semi circle of smaller basalt stones. The path circles the entire yard. It consists of slate steps and gravel to make walking possible around the slope. He also installed French drains and an area of baffles and rushes to divert and manage ground water movement. The yard improvements led us to the second phase of dry creek installation,plantings, a slate seating circle and finish of the yard with a type of bark dust. Charles and his crew worked in the winter in cold weather and all conditions. The completion of the work was timely for us to be prepared for Spring rains. We would recommend Charles due to his communications skill, willingness to work with customers, ability to adjust to changes and plans, his ability to present options cf materials and his ability to install large complex designs. Charles discounts his rates for the winter. He is recommended by our master Gardner and works well with him.

Charles and his crew came out today after a few changes to the plan/proposal and they managed to squeak their equipment through my side path and into the backyard. They got to work and stayed over to get it done. They made two gravel pads for sheds leveled out the space 30'x75' and then planted 7 trees. They did a great job, took my mess of stump grindings and several yards of river rock from the previous owner and turned my yard into our private little forest. I am very please with the work that was done, the only negative was getting to an agreed start date and time. In the end he changed his schedule to accommodate our job two thumbs up.

Excellent. The team is very professional and well prepared for any of the land mines that fall in the way of completing the job. The attention to detail is one of their competeive advantages. I learned a lot during the project which was an added bonus.

Disappointed overall. Met several times with Charles to discuss my expectations. Needed a lot of bush and tree trimming, and not so much lawn maintenance. Had to contact several times over the year to get them to do more than just mow the lawn.
