replacement windows
+ -1 moreOverall it wasn't the best experience. Since I couldn't really understand what he was trying to describe to me as options, I couldn't really give him an informed answer. I did understand his bid though and it was comparable to other companies. He did talk about some previous experiences and the outcomes and I believe that he would be very honest in dealing with. I ended up going with different windows than I originally wanted only because of the cost so I didn't need AJJ's services. All things being equal, I would have chosen to do business with someone easier to communicate with or used the company supplying the windows as an Interpreter. His accent is really no more to blame than my inability to understand it. If I had gone with my original choice in windows, I may still have used AJJ because they have experience installing that type of window if the supplier would agree to assist in communication.
Description of Work: I was looking for a particular type of window that is not readily available in the Northwest. I found a company in Vancouver that could supply them for me but did not provide their own installation. They referred me to AJJ Construction. An estimator came out to measure the windows and give me a bid on installation. Although he was very pleasant, he had such a heavy accent I had a hard time understanding him when he was asking me my preference about finishing the interior of the window since they'd have to cut away part of the existing sill.
