Called the day before to schedule appointment and the person arrived a few minutes before scheduled time was very nice and professional. He had the safe open in a matter of minutes and a drilled hole in door to be able to look at the Tumbler. Highly recommend them!

I had the house rekeyed in the summer, and so they just made the keys and drove them out to me.  It was an emergency to get the locks open and they provided me with two different keys. The property happens to be a rental and when the property banker returned it to me, they hired A-Max to rekey all the doors.  They’re good.  I guess they’re easy to use.  I am interested in installing a safe in my house so it would be cool to get a good deal on safes.  I don’t know what to compare their price to.

Super responsive via email. Realized on flight home that my house key was left behind on the east coast.
Quick service, right price. Would use again if I got locked out.

super fast in and out in less than 3 mins with 3 locks re-keyed and 5 new keys for just under $50. guys were very nice and answered of the questions quite well. will 100% use these guys in the future.

I requested same-day service on a Saturday when the company working hours were 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, and they were fully booked, but Matt agreed to come between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm, which I greatly appreciated. I had lost my front door house key, and Matt re-keyed the lock and supplied the 4 keys I asked for. His work was efficient and professional and his manner was professional. If I need locksmith services in the future I will certainly hire this firm again.

Excellent service. Jay listened to what we wanted accomplished and the reason for it, then he made recommendations that were appropriate for our situation. We also had a lock on a screen door that was not longer functioning and he fixed that. He was efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant. We will contact A-Max again as our needs change.

Rudy was prompt, professional and completed the job quickly. He fixed the front door deadbolt and fixed the backdoor lock that was originally installed upside down. Now the locks work great. I would definitely call this company again.

Matt was the only locksmith I called who said he could rekey a Honda lock for me today (important because my son is leaving on Monday for 3 1/2 months, taking this car). He did it as I waited, explained some things to me about keys and locks that I didn't know, and I was out of there in about half an hour. I was really satisfied with the work he did, the time he took to do it, and the teaching that he did. I would definitely use this business again, even though I live in Oregon City and it is quite a drive for me to get over to Barbur Blvd. I am completely satisfied!!!

.I chose this company because I found them on Angie's List and they were rated very high. I thought their price was a little high because they charged $100 for only fifteen minutes of work.

They did a fine job. The price was reasonable and there were no problems. I liked their fast service. They were ready when they told me they were going to be ready. They are very convenient for me and I will use them again.

We moved into a house and were only given keys to the front door! There are three other outside doors plus the garage door. The front door was a schlage, but the other doors were another lock brand. The locksmith changed the front door so all the doors could be on the same key. He also installed a deadlock on the door to the garage. One of the interior doors had a locking doorknob (it was an exterior door before an extension was built), so he swapped that with the doorknob to the garage to have extra security. All existing locks were checked and cleaned.

While the work was superb, what really knocked it out of the proverbial park was that one doorknob is broken and on its last legs. The locksmith took some time to work it into place carefully and have it working nearly perfectly. He left no expectation that it will never need replacing (and quot;it should be good for about another five yearsand quot;), but he saved us from having to replace it in the mean time, even though it's something he could've sold us a new one. So in another five years, I'll be calling A-Max.

They are very good. It is a very good place to get keys on any kind.

Bob showed up as promised, removed the broken latch and adjusted the lock so that it worked better than it had beforehand.

The lock front door lockset stopped working. I called and spoke with Matt and described the problem. It was an hour before they were closing and he said he had 2 other customers there that the was helping but to go ahead and come in. He was just finishing up with the other customers when I got there. He took a look at my lock and replaced the spindle in 5 minutes. Matt was very knowledgeable and professional. They have a very well equipped and stocked store and have very reasonable prices. I will definitely use them for any locksmith services in the future.

They didn’t charge anything because there was a shortcoming in their work that they had done a few months ago. They quite proactively responded when I said that it wasn’t working right and they got right on it. They sent out a very capable locksmith and he got things going and fixed it better than it ever has been. Their initial guy wasn’t as professional as the second guy. There wouldn’t have been an issue if the second guy had done the work before. The young eager beaver that did the initial work didn’t have the experience and wisdom that is perhaps needed for my particular work. The second guy took care of things very professionally and capably. So there were no issues. I think there was waste of effort the first time in terms of the first guy not quite knowing what to do and how to go about it. So there was some inefficiency. I think that the price was a bit on the high side for the work that was accomplished incorrectly. However, it seemed fair for the fact that they did a followup and made things right. I would have been delighted to spend what I did with the end result. I would most definitely use their services in the future too.

Works great. Nice tech, professional and efficient. The only negative was the $95 trip charge, but we were given a 10% discount and can sleep soundly tonight......Thanks!
