Terry Johnson Landscape and Handyman Services

I hesitate to leave a review because Terry is golden and I don't want him getting too busy to help me. ;-)) There are few people these days who take pride in their work the way Terry does. That, in addition to his amazing skills, makes him very unique. He has a background of building beautiful acoustic guitars which is probably why he's so good at paying attention to detail. In addition - he's fast, knowledgeable about fixing darn near anything, polite, tidy (he cleans up the area after each job) and very reasonably priced (I always pay him more than he asks). If there is something he doesn't feel comfortable fixing or if it's a waste of your money he'll let you know and give you an alternative solution. That has never happened with workers I have hired in the past. Don't get me started with the massive amounts of time and money I've wasted on "professionals" who have vanished mid-job, made me buy way more materials than needed, done shoddy work, were unkempt, rude, left a mess, etc., etc. There just isn't anyone better than Terry and I only wish I'd found him sooner.

Terry came to my home to discuss a variety of things, which needed repaired/or replaced. Before I had even hired him, he fixed my patio screen door that was off the track and replaced the missing inside mechanism of a door handle. I gave him the list and we agree on a date for the work. Terry's work ethic is impeccable. He arrived on time for our initial meeting and again the day of the work. Terry has a wide range of experience, is very professional, and willing to offer advice when asked. Terry has agreed to return and install new shower doors, which are on order now. He will also install a t.v. wall mounting bracket, and new cabinets in the master bath. Further his work ethic is to be admired; he arrives on time, moves quickly from completed projects to the next, and cleans up after each job. I am more than happy with Terry's work and look forward have a someone that I can rely on in the future.

He arrived on time, completed the job and then cleaned the gutters without being asked to (much appreciated). We highly recommend Terry and will call him again!

Excellent! I am a picky customer and he did a fabulous job. He never wasted my time and money by over-talking or standing around ( I have had prior handymen who did). He was prompt and proceeded to take care of the tasks that needed to be done. His work was clean and well done.

Terry turned lemons into lemonade. He was able to quickly install the panels and save us time and energy struggling. He was efficient, detail oriented and problem solved some of the issues that we created during our DIY failure. He did a great job and I would definitely hire him him again!

Terry's work is good quality and efficient. He keeps on moving from task to task and gets a lot done in a day.

Terry started each day at 745 & worked all day. It took 2 full days to complete. To me that was very fast. He was knowledgeable, reliable & easy to ask questions to. Price I thought was reasonable. I had an idea of what I wanted, but I was unsure of the details. Terry knew exactly what I wanted and it came out so perfect. I finally found someone who shows up and does the job I hired them for. We just bought a new house & we have a long list of things that need to be done. Terry is now my go to person for completing these items. It's always good to have a go to handyman.

Terry was punctual, worked hard and did an excellent job for a fair price.

Terry arrived punctually for both the estimate and the job itself. The cost of the job was reasonable (repair as well as hauling away debris). The quality of Terry's workmanship is excellent. Thanks to Terry, I now have a functional fence and porch.

Terry was very professional, quick and efficient. When it came to the leak in the garage roof, Terry came up with a solution that  reduced the expense of replacing the roof which was in good shape. Our projects were more fix it projects instead of complete replacement projects. Other bids we received they didn't want to look into fixing instead just replace which cost more and not needed when the framework of the fence, roof and back deck were fine.
We would definitely use Terry again and refer as well. In fact we are thinking of other projects in our house he can help us with!

We had three projects.
 #1. Wooden stair rail on hillside next to stone stairs was too short. We needed it made taller without disturbing original foundations. He did a great job, it came out better than I thought it could.
#2. Fix instabilities in existing wood staircases. He looked at them, told us what was solid and what needed to be replaced/added.
#3. A third project he looked at and told us was outside his scope but he gave us good advice for next steps.
Overall, he did the work quickly and for the amount originally quoted. We are very happy with the result.

Terry is good at quoting a job and doing what he says he'll do. He's willing to walk through a scenario with you and do the job according to what is realistic, both within his ability and within my budget. He identifies challenges and discusses them before hand. He's tidy and leaves things looking good. He's a great resource.

We've used Terry for many projects over the past year and he's always done a great job - this one was no exception. Terry's professional, courteous, punctual and dependable. He installed our master bedroom walk-in closet system, hung blinds, demo'd our kitchen, painted, made and mounted custom wood shelves, and the list goes on. We're very happy with Terry and recommend him to our friends whenever we know they have a home project that they need help with.

Terry did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations. He understood our wishes and worked quickly and precisely. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is superb. His mastery and skill level are awesome!

First and foremost he built us a beautiful front porch that added so much curb appeal to the house. And in the process he was creative, conscientious, thorough, put up with an obnoxious dog and did it all in the time frame he allotted. We will ask Terry back to do more improvements to the house.

He is very professional as well.
