What irritates me, when you are in the middle of watching a movie and you get a pop up saying we will do maintenance unless you click this and you have to get the device out and fix that. Every time we have some kind of a storm, the service goes out. I haven't had anybody come out, everything is on phone. We tried another company and the customer service was horrible, that is why we switched to Dish.

The serviceman was very responsive and diligent. He even clambered through a small insulation filled attic crawl space to run cable the length of the house, without a whisper of complaint.

It is a national company. We have used direct TV before and switched so this is something that we want and what is offered. They are responsive but they come in the expensive category. We are actually exploring the internet options that are out there now.

When I go on vacation, they are able to turn off my service, and turn it back on when I return home. They don't charge me more for that service. I would recommend them to a friend or family member.

I have been with them for nine years, but I am extremely unhappy with them right now because of a billing problem that hasn't been solved to date. They are my Achilles heel right now, and they have been for the last five months. They have been sending my bills to a fictitious address. When I called them, they kept transferring my call around. They pride themselves in their customer service but when I call them I end up talking to a recording. My other complaint is with the quality of their service because I keep losing the signal to my dish and it goes out frequently. I feel that their prices are good. They are polite and kind and they try to be helpful but they don't seem to get anything done. I will continue to use them for the time being; if the problem is not solved I will have to think differently.

The installation went well .The individual who done the installation asked many questions to make sure where I wanted the dish installed. He showed about a hour later than he was scheduled.

We have a package with Dish Network. They told us when we finished moving from California to Oregon to call and they would re-connect our Dish at no charge. When I did call for this service, Dish Network wanted to charge us for the installation. I had kept notes with whom I had talked to that told us that it would be free of charge. After a few arguments with them it was finally re-connected free of charge. That is the only problem that we have had over the years.

I do not have problems with the service except when the snow covers the satellite dish. You have to see the satellite for it to work. I will continue to use Dish Network.

It's hard to figure out how much you pay for each of the services because they're all combined in one bill. Their service has been fairly good. We had some snow and the TV was out for a while, but that got fixed.

The biggest problem with this time was the failure of the technician to show up. The appointment was scheduled for Monday morning, we got a call at 4:00PM on Monday afternoon that the unit was "out of stock" and would have to be rescheduled for the next day. They did show up all the earlier on Tuesday...

TERRIBLE!!!! After multiple attempts to get through the busy signal and spending over an hour trying to get through to a human being instead the the endless recordings and menu selection(most of the human contact is with outsourced staff, whom you can barely understand. I finally got through to a Miss Huerta who finally ended this nightmare.

Overall, I am pretty satisfied with Dish Network. I do wish the HD package had a few more channels, and I now know that with the DirectTV HD set-up, you also get local channels in HD. With that said, the service has always been good, and I have never had any problems with outages. The installation went very smooth and was free, so that was a plus.
