+ -1 moreHe and his sons go out and do construction, and it was stupid of us to have continued to use them. Everything had to be scrapped and redone by another company. He is a very nice man and well-meaning, and was recommended by a realtor when we first moved in. He was in over his head and really didn?t know how to do things. People who had to redo the bathroom asked if we would like to have pictures taken because we could sue him. From electrical to plumbing to installing things, he didn?t do things up to code, which we now found out. His charges were less than others, which should have been an indication. He was not dirt cheap but he just seemed cheaper than other providers.
Description of Work: Joe Tucker Construction had done a number of things for us and basically the results were disastrous. We used them to put in a bathroom and the plumbing fixtures fell out and the tile had to be redone. He had put in the wrong grouting and weeds were growing in from the flooring. It had to be totally gutted and started from scratch. His cabinetry was off and some of the things wouldn’t open. Things were crooked. The electrical work was not up to code. In terms of putting insulation on, it turned out that he had put the insulation on in the wrong direction and the electrical in those particular rooms was not wired correctly. The project was the most expensive thing that he did for us.
