I had effected emergency repairs, but did not trust my epoxy patch to hold up over the long haul.   I had used TG Nichols for replacing outside water faucet and they had been very reliable and reasonably priced.   I called and made an appointment (I think it was a few days wait) and was given a date/time someone would show up.   The business owner showed up at the appointed day/time.   VERY punctual.
He evaluated the problem, checked his vehicle for the proper parts and went right to work.   He discussed options with me as to the repair.   He had a hot/cold faucet combination to replace the existing one.   It wasn't an exact fit, but he worked with it and removed drywall until it did fit.   The repair looked fine (hidden by the washer and I can have a worker come in and pretty up the drywall patch if I want) and it works and, most importantly, it was done in a timely manner.

I saw an ad in Capitol Press for bales of hay and called to inquire. Doug Nichols told me he had good-quality grass hay for sale. I drove to his barn just outside town and thought the hay looked good -- bought 10 bales. I told him I might buy more. Two days later I called and told him I was interested in buying more if was still selling. He told me he was and had a buyer coming the next day at 2 o'clock and suggested I come at 3 o'clock. I showed up a bit early and waited twenty minutes, Nothing. I don't have a cell phone, so knocked at the door of a nearby house and asked if Doug lived there or nearby. The lady told me that Doug lived down the road but she had seen him leaving shortly before. I drove home -- an hour wasted -- and called his cell. He agreed that we were to meet at three but told me he had some chores to do so had left. He asked me if I still wanted to buy hay -- I was pretty upset and rather than get into an unpleasant discussion, just told him good-bye and hung up.

I suspect Doug is a fine plumber but wouldn't want to deal with somebody like him who can't get the basics right.

The job went well. One line was to small and had to be replaced later. They did not clean up the mess under the house the first time but when they came back they cleaned up.

I was very impressed with this company. I'm going to schedule more work with them in the near future. They were very professional and the price was good.

Great service and work from start to finish. This is a family owned business that has been in existence for many, many years (1959) and was recommended to me by a contractor that has worked with them many times. I reviewed our list on the phone and received some suggestions and confirmation of licensing/bonding and experience. They scheduled me within the week and Doug Nichol arrived promptly on time. In fact, some of the items on my list he recommended not to do and gave me insight why that was the correct course to take. We agreed and then added some other items. He worked quickly, professionally, and made sure all the changes worked. He returned after getting our new sink two days later and inspected all the prior connections to ensure we were happy. I will definitely have TG Nichol back for any future plumbing needs. The price was right, the work was speedy, and of high quality. Nice to work with in addition to supporting a family business.
