$235
My car overheated and was towed into this shop because it was close.  They billed me  $235, which I paid because I couldn't have my car towed anywhere else at that point.  The charges were $145 labor ($95 per hour), $35 for the hose, $22 thermostat and $25 coolant.
Afterwards I told my regular mechanic (Rapley Motorsports and Subaru) about what happened he couldn't believe what they charged me.  His charges would have been $50 labor ($75 and hour), $22 hose, $15 thermostat (which he said it didn't need) and $13 coolant, total $100.  I decided to get more estimates for the same work.  They were as follows: Southern Oregon Subaru $120, Star Automotive $70, Valley Auto $100 or less, Action Auto $90.
I feel they took advantage of my dire situation and grossly overcharged me.   They also did not use genuine Subaru parts or put a necessary additive in the coolant that Subarus need to keep from overheating in the future.
I assume the work  was satisfactory but overdone and overcharged.

Found Valley View on Yelp, called them and told them of my problem asked if they could help. Mechanic was polite and seemed to know about repairs of this kind for a Mini. They were great about getting me in quickly and provided a ride for me home in a nice mini van. The problem is: My car drove exactly the same as when I left it. and it cost me $244.00. They recomended a $2,151.57 clutch replacement repair.
