This was a job to paint the widows/screens, rafter tails, doors, porches, and some hand railings on the exterior of my house. I put the bid out to three different companies. I initially was very satisfied with the price of the job which is why I chose them. The workers we're very courteous and respectful. Then the owner realized he under bid the job in the middle and quality went down. The porches got painted with deck stain. Except they are concrete. So the paint just peeled off. I paid for the job so the actual workers could get paid on the word that they would be back to fix it and they have not come back in over a year. My screens never got painted or hung back up. The paint is bubbling on several of the windows, and as I mentioned before the porches are all peeling. I showed all of this to the owner before they left the job site. Not what I expected for the several thousand dollars i paid. I understand he under bid the job because he told me so, but that was not my fault. He gave me the bid. I would not recommend this company in its present circumstances to anyone. If they were to fix the job as was originally intended I would reconsider my review. It was a very disappointing experience.

It was a busy time, and this was a small job so it was very hard to get someone over or even to get Ken to respond to me..
Finally, the painter, Pat, came over and did an excellent job--neat and perfect.
The problem was that he forgot two outside window trims, and I could never get Ken to allow Pat to return and finish. He just did not answer my calls and emails. I probably should not have paid him until he did, but he seemed very friendly and professional.
Thus, the work was excellent and fair, but it was left somewhat unfinished. Maybe he was fitting us in, as he implied, and that was a favor. But he should have responded to me. BTW, he did not honor the Angie's List senior discount.

Very happy with Ken Conger, owner. His bids were most reasonable. He was friendly, advised me where there was trouble, like door damaged by too much weather. Honored my request to try and save the natural wood. When that did not give a good result, had good recommendation to fill in the damaged wood, and paint over. Turned out very well. Same with damage to garage door. Talked over multiple solutions. First one, again, did not give good result. Went to 2nd solution, no extra cost.
His proposed schedule was timely. Did not have to wait long to get started. His crews were friendly, helpful, courteous, careful, responded well to questions and concerns. They wanted to do a good job. Ken responded quickly to questions and changes. Cost did not go up after they started. I was involved in choices of product, if there was a cost difference. They worked diligently and quickly. They showed up when he said they would. He introduced me to them directly. It was a very painless experience. I enjoyed my time with Ken. He makes the customer feel important in a genuine way.

Excellent attention to detail and actually finished the job a day earlier than expected. A professional crew was unobtrusive and very careful to avoid overspray and any damage to the property or landscaping. Appreciated the communication and responsiveness. The price was high but the quality and competency was worth the cost.
