Manicures/Nails
I will preface this by mentioning that I've been going to Ashland Nails for several years....
I was going to be married on October 20th of last year....scheduled an appointment with Leechi for both a pedicure & manicure. I scheduled this appointment 3 weeks prior to my wedding date.. Although I'm not one to complain & be picky I did stress to her this was an important/very special day and I wanted my nails to look extra nice.
Although the pedicure was ok (a bit rushed), the French acrylic nails/ manicure was terrible, not to mention painful. She rushed me through (overbooked again with several clients waiting) the procedure, cutting several cuticles. Very painful/ unpleasant experience to say the least.. The polish, when dry formed little bubbles. My nails bled on and off all day...I did use some antibiotic/ pain relief ointment but still painful. The next day, my wedding day, my cuticles were very swollen, painful and red. It took nearly a week for my cuticles to heal up!
As I mentioned before, I've gone to Ashland Nails for several years, but unfortunately, I've noticed a general decline in customer care & professionalism in the last couple of years.
I have not returned, nor do I ever plan to again.
