Our thermostat stopped working, and we had a very cold house for two days and nights. We were lucky enough to find A-Action Heating & Cooling and called them. Dan M. came out the next day, did a thorough investigation, and explained everything to us. He replaced our thermostat with the new one we had bought. Hooray, we have heat now! Dan pointed out that we also have an issue with our air conditioner. We will call A-Action in April to schedule a spring tune-up of our A/C. We highly recommend this company!

Our furnace went out completely just in time for our one little snowy day here in Beaverton. Dan came out, inspected the furnace and let us know exactly what the problem was. It was not going to be an easy fix but parts were ordered and he provided us with a floor heater to help in the meantime. Dan returned today and was able to not only repair our furnace but came in FAR BELOW the original quote. He was honest from the start and although there were shipping issues (to no ones fault as it's a COVID year and everything is taking forever) we are very happy with the service provided. If you are looking for and honest, prompt and friendly company that does care about you and your money...this is the one! We will be using them for all of our future needs.

Maintenance was performed. Some PVC lines needed changing. AC coolant was added.

Great took about 12hrs to install, finish work wasn’t quite as good as I’d hoped for. Two holes were drilled through wall to outside for intake and exhaust. All went well Accept first hole wasn’t right so they moved over and drilled 2 more? Also used lots of silicone :(

Owner showed up on time to give a bid. He clearly understood the product line, and explained why one model was preferable to another model. The bid was reasonable. He said they could do the job a week later. We agreed. Two installers arrived around 8:30 AM on the agreed date. The owner came by a little later to check that things were going well. Everyone was friendly. The job was done by 6pm. I was concerned about a wiring harness that remained from the previous heater. It was old and deteriorated. They could have "made it work", but instead, they brought in a spool and replaced it. They checked my crawl space to make sure nothing leaked, and fixed some fallen insulation while they were there. This seems like a nice, local, family run business. I was happy to give them my business, and am happy to refer others.

You do it on a contract. You get two visits. We're going to have our visit coming up here in a couple of weeks. So we get two visits for $150 bucks. They've been providing service for about three years. They're excellent. We had a small problem that one of the other companies said we were going to have to replace our furnace with and they just correct the small problem and said you don't have to replace your furnace. They problem solve. They're smart. They problem-solve. They know their business. They know furnaces. They are good with their scheduling. You have to hold them off. They want to come right away but that's not always possible.

I have had the for years. The cost was $240 counting the trip fee and the cost for the item. The price was reasonable. For professionalism, you couldn't beat them. I have used them several times in the past. It took about half an hour. Something I do like about the half hour is that, one half hour is included in the trip fee. You don't see that often. They do everything. I graded them an A because of the professionalism and they also crowded me in. It is cold here, it is under the teens. A lot of people are calling in about their furnaces not working which makes sense. That is their priority, they want to get heat to people. In my case, it was an easy job. The thermostat needed to be replaced and so they crowded me in on the very day I asked for it.

The tech arrived on time and very professional in performing his job.  He thoroughly inspected all the components and tested the system. He offered advice on the frequency for changing the air filter which was counter to all the advice I had received for the past ten years. His explanation made perfect sense. He did advise that the unit might need replacement in the next year or two and a new unit would be significantly more efficient but no hard sell just his observation.
We will be using this company in the future for our HVAC needs.

I needed a new heat pump so I asked 4 contractors for bids.  Two contractors quoted Trane systems, one quoted Lennox and one declined to bid.  A-Action came in thousands of dollars lower than the other Trane dealers for the identical system.  The only way I can explain this is that the other companies had salesmen who came to the house, printed many pages of "heat load calculation" output, spoke loudly and spent more than an hour telling me what I should buy.  A-Action is a family-run company with no sales people.  Tim (the owner) and Sara (employee) bid the system.  Installation with A-Action was scheduled and began right at 9am as quoted.  The two clean-cut, professional and very nice installers spent time reviewing the install to make sure they were in sync with my expectations.  The installers expected to be done by early afternoon but ended up working until 7pm.  I don't see this is as a negative since their attention to detail was exceptional and the install was done perfectly.  The system was started up and tested before the installers left.  I'm very, very happy with the price as well as the end result with A-Action.

Our furnace stopped working two days before Christmas.  It's an older furnace so we were afraid it needed to be replaced.  We called A Action Heating.  Our first impression was that they were organized and professional when they answered the phone so we decided to go with them over the other businesses we called.  They sent a technician the same day that we called. The technician they sent was talented and professional.  We had a tricky problem but he was bound and determined to fix it.  He needed a part they did not have and, unfortunately, the store was closed already.  The next day (Christmas Eve), he went to the store as soon as they opened at 7:30 am and came back over to finish the job.  Even after he replaced the part, there were other things going on with the furnace, and again, we were concerned we would have to replace it.  Thank goodness for the technician's troubleshooting talent because he was able to figure it out!  Ah, the sweet sound of the furnace turning on.  We told him he saved Christmas! ;)
These guys are good.  When it comes time to replace the furnace we will be giving them a call.  I would definitely recommend them to others.

I used A Action Heating three years ago to install a new A/C and Furnace in my old house and was very pleased.

I call them again to help ion my new house. I need to move our A/C out of the way to pour a large storage slab on the side

of our house. They were very helpful and moved it out of the way and then replaced it when my project was completed.

Nothing worked. On Monday AM, a representative came out to inspect and give me price quotes on a new unit. I signed and a new TRANE unit was installed Wednesday morning. Very professional. I am very happy with the service provided and the quick responsiveness.
