They're absolutely excellent. They're just an amazing cleaner, they do a great work. They call you before hand and tell when they going to be there. I can't say enough good things about them.

I expected my home to be cleaned as it was before I became disabled.I had to continually show  the girls how to properly made a bed.The bottom  sheet wasn't pulled completely down and tucked under the mattress so after a couple nights of sleeping the sheet had worked half way up and off the mattress. The top sheet and blanket were not finished with square or hospital corners. All in all an untidy bed. I was  happy with the service until team leader Gabby and then Natalia left the company. Their attention to detail was greatly appreciated and what I expected. The team members remained but choose to become lazy and the quality of service declined greatly. The list of some things neglected were:
Walls around the toilets not washed
Fingerprints on doors and around light switches never cleaned
Window blinds, sills and tracks never touched
Baseboards in all rooms never wiped
                Stove hood seldom cleaned
A lot of household surfaces require more then a dry clothe to clean. They went through the  motions of cleaning but blind to the results of their efforts. I called five or six times to complain about the quality of service and was assured it would be taken of each time. It wasn't. Lastly they sent THEIR BEST team to clean at half price, their best wasn't good enough. When I fired them I suggested they improve their training and was told "we have excellent training". They talk a good talk but that's all it was.
It took four calls and two and half weeks to get my house key back.

We hired the Maids of Albany to do a deep clean of our house.  We recently moved in and due to hurried circumstances it was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our moving in.  The Maids of Albany were professional from start to finish - they are prompt, accurate in the estimates, and both quick and thorough in cleaning.  We have hired them to do maintenance cleaning on our home and are very happy with the results.  We would absolutely recommend them!

The quality of the cleaning has gone progressively downhill.  There is dusting left undone, portions of floors unwashed.  The house is for the most part clean, but there is a lack of attention to details.
My major beef is the price, which has steadily climbed while the quality of the service has declined.  The crew is getting paid about $25 per hour a person.  I don't think that is reasonable.

Our home was spotless and smelled so fresh after they cleaned. The team worked quickly but did a thorough job from cleaning out the toaster crumbs to vacuuming the furniture to cleaning the baseboards.

I looked them up in the yellow pages and I like their ad, so I went with them. I use them only once in a while and they do a good job. I will continue to use them in the future.

They are reliable.  There is a whole crew of them.  You get a different crew every once in a while so that t whatever it is an individual girl does best sometimes you get a different best so that the whole house in the course of a couple of months would get an extra ordinary service on pretty much on all its pieces.  As for punctuality we usually call in advance and schedule.  We will use them in the future.

Upon my return home and discovering the oven was left unfinished, I phoned the company. The person who took my call wrote off one-third the cost. However, once I'd finished the oven, I then discovered all the other problems and had to hurry to tend to them. I phoned the next day with a complete list of the problems and the time I had to spend to set things right. The entire list was typed by the person who answered the phone and that list was passed on to the manager. Later that day, the manager called to tell me they would not charge me for any of the 'work' done.

When I first hired 'The Maids', I spoke with a rep and told him my expectations. I am picky and I need someone that pays attention to detail. That when cleaners skip stuff I feel like they are just doing the stuff that I will notice and not cleaning stuff I won't notice. I hate when cleaners skip items, for example... I have a bar in my family room, we don't drink but it is very lovely so we don't want to remove it. We decorate it with colored bottles of soda (like crush and jones soda) sitting on the shelf rather than alcohol bottles. I have had several maids just choose to 'not' dust the shelf, assuming I won't notice... but I always notice... I actually check by wiping it with my finger. The rep assured me that 'The Maids' is the company for me, they clean "left to right & top to bottom leaving no stone unturned". I arranged for monthly cleaning with the first cleaning being an 'initial deep clean'. They charge $110 per hour. You can have them stop at 1hr or 2hrs or no time limit. The first service was great. It was $250 and they were in my house a bit over 2 hours. They cleaned everything, under the micro, my bar, between the washer & dryer, top of fridge... everything. They did stand on my beds to clean ceiling fans, which I didn't think was very professional and I requested they use a chair or stool in the future. The second service was on December 27th. The crew that came the first time was not available so a different crew came. They cleaned for only 1hr & 20 minutes, even though I hadn't set a time limit. Right away I noticed they hadn't cleaned the bottom shelf on my computer desk. But my husband and I were getting ready to leave for Hawaii that night.... so the house was left clean with nobody in it for a week while we were gone, there wasn't any food cooked or meals eaten after the cleaning. When we returned home and I started doing regular daily things I started noticing all that was missed. First I noticed the bar hadn't been dusted, then a sheet of paper slide under the couch so I slide it out and saw they hadn't cleaned under the couch. Upon inspecting my stove I saw they hadn't cleaned the grate (where the pots sit), so I lifted the grates and then lifted the things that the gas comes from... they hadn't moved and wiped under those. Then my daughter spilled a little cereal and it went under the microwave, so I picked it up and saw that they hadn't cleaned under the micro either. So they skipped... the shelf on my computer desk, the shelf on my bar, under the couch, under the micro, under the gas burners nor the grate on top. These are all items I had requested that they be sure to clean. When I complained the rep was apathetic, he just really didn't seem care, when I spoke with the owner he made excuses. He says... I don't know what type of micro you have... maybe they couldn't move it. But his first crew didn't have a problem & my 12 yr old doesn't have a problem... if they aren't strong enough to slide or pick up a micro then how do they run a vacuum?... just excuses instead of accepting responsibility... The owner was rude to me and treated me like I was lying about the stuff not being cleaned... yet I wasn't asking for anything in return... just assurance that they would re-train that second crew. Between the hassles & the rudeness... I just don't need to pay $150-$250 for sub par cleaning. Fired...

The very first time the Maids cleaned my home, they did an excellent job. Over the year that they cleaned my house on a biweekly basis, the quality really fell off. On their website they have a list of all the things their cleaners do, but all of these things were not done in my home. No dusting was done after a while, and on my hardwood floors they did not sweep or clean around some easily movable pieces of furniture (like a light rocking chair). In the kitchen, the counters were only cleaned around the things that sit on my counter-they did not move the items to clean underneath them. The Maids have a guarantee that if you are not satisfied with a clean they come back and redo it at no charge. I felt uncomfortable doing this because I was worried about the cleaning team having bad feelings towards me if I complained. I wish they would have done their job correctly the first time around. For the price, I certainly expected a lot more!

First visit was to view the house and give me an estimate for weekly cleaning, I already had a reference so I knew I was going to use their service. The first cleaning is to to bottom and very thorough. It took three people about three hours, weekly cleaning should be around one hour. Pleased with the initial service, my only complaint was items moved and not placed back where they were originally.
