I chose Steve from a referral made by a cousin who had used his services for her daughter's wedding. Steve was very patient with me in my distress and with my ignorance. I asked him to create a balance between representing my MIL's vibrant life with bright colors (purples and oranges and yellows and reds) and the solemnity of the memorial. She would have wanted people to remember her as she lived rather than focus on her death. I explained all this to Steve, who listened and recommended some arrangements with modifications. He delivered the flowers on time to the funeral home for the viewing and a few days later, transported the flowers to the graveside and the church on the day of the service.
