+ 0 moreWe dropped off the remnant material at their shop in Albany. Made the selection for the surrounding border material and binding color. About a week later the area rug was ready for pick-up. The finished rug is fantastic; really looks sharp in our dining room. We have used Carpet Genie Floor Covering several times before for carpet repairs, new wall to wall carpeting, and vinyl flooring jobs in some rental properties we manage. They have always done fine work for us at a reasonable price. Very helpful staff.
Description of Work: The staff at Carpet Genie Floor Covering fabricated an area rug for our dining room. The center area of the rug was made from a portion of carpet that we had left over from another job in our home. From their in-store stock, we found a contrasting textured carpet material that we decided to use for the surrounding border. This approach provided us with a finished rug that was of the size that we needed. Their staff put the rug together and provided the desired contrasting perimeter binding. The Owner, Phil Worthington was of great assistance, in sharing the many and varied options that we could use in creating the finished look / design we desired.
