Eric and Luke came first thing in the morning, as scheduled, and worked hard and efficiently all morning, completing the installation just before noon. They cleaned up after themselves and left the work site spotless. The work and materials were of excellent quality and the Cat 6 cable does what it is supposed to do. If we need additional electrical work done in the future, we will certainly use Axis Electric again.

They showed up on time - actually a few minutes early.  They ran conduit for a new exterior disconnect box that contained a separate GFCI 20 amp outlet along with the 30 amp for the AC.  The work looks good and it took only two hours for two people.  This is the 2nd time I've used Gene's (now known as Axis Electric).  I'm very happy with the work done.

We had an outstanding experience with this company.  They came in on estimate even though I think they may have done more work than we agreed to, were highly professional and punctual, and did quality work.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and if we have need for future work, we will use them again.  The owner was exceptionally courteous.  I had read a negative review of this company on the internet and so called him to find out what happened.  He very clearly explained what happened, the circumstances that led to the disagreement and the outcome.  I won't go into the details of the experience he had with the complaining party, but suffice it to say that his story made sense to me and was very convincing.  I have no respervations at all about this company or its workers.

These guys really do good work.  The guy that came to do the rough in work was simply awesome.  He really worked to put stuff where I needed it, not where it was easiest.  He worked fast and was done way quicker than I thought it would be.
A different guy came back to do the finish work and he was just as good.  He worked quickly, was clean and was very easy on the house.  Everything went in just as I needed and he left NO mess when he was done.  AAA+++

We bought our home in March 2012.  One of the few items we required the sellers to repair were the electronic air filters and a couple of other electrical fixes; the sellers called Gene's Electric, who did some work and verified on their invoice to the sellers that the electronic air filters were "working."  
When we moved in in the middle of March, they weren't working; in fact, it was apparent the air filter hadn't been examined, because there was a mummified rat in one of the units.  Because of the craziness of a big move, it took us a while to contact Gene's, who sent someone out; Shawn verified 2 out of 3 of the electronic air filters weren't working and said "oh, the guy who came out originally shouldn't have written on the bill that the filters were working; he should have written that they had electricity."  In order to close on the house, the seller agreed to make certain repairs, including the electronic air filters; the seller has told us to contact Gene's, and Shawn at Gene's researched what parts we needed, gave us the parts number, and told us to order them ourselves to the tune of $185 each--we need 2 of them.  
We shouldn't have to pay for the parts, since the air filters were supposed to be repaired before we even closed.  I'm sorry that Gene's is stuck in the middle, but their technician verified in writing that the filters were working, which means Gene's is responsible to get them working, not just to research the parts and tell us where to purchase them.  We've purchased them, but the whole experience has left us a bit cheesed with Gene's.
