The call for work was placed on a Saturday but the estimator did not come until Tuesday although I advised him that I had water pouring into my basement anytime water was running in my home. The estimator was on time but only spent 15 minutes looking at the issue. He did not run any water to see where the leak was coming from or perform any other tests to determine the cause of the issue. The estimator was at my house for a total of 20 minutes. When I contacted the home warranty company to follow-up on the estimate, they had advised me that Albany Plumbing & Heating had charged them $150 for 2 hours of work plus drilling into the concrete to determine the cause of the issue.
Description of Work: Albany Plumbing & Heating was the contractor assigned by the home warranty company to complete an estimate for water leaking from the septic line. The cause of the leak was unknown at the time of the estimate but later determine by a different company to be due to the line being collapsed from a fallen tree. A new line was required to fix the problem. The repair work was not performed by Albany Plumbing & Heating. ($6000)
