Where to start with our horrible experience with the Oklahoma RNR group? We hired them because of the good reviews on Angies List and I have no idea how people could be having such a good experience with them, because our experience was the exact opposite. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. Their manager Matthew Campbell is one of the most disorganized and scatterbrained manager’s we have ever seen. They ruined and broke over $1,500 worth of our items and completely left behind over $750 worth of our items. They assured us before our move they would put the bolts in to protect our front loading washing machine during the drive. When the washing machine arrived at our new home, NO BOLTS. The manager himself, Matthew Campbell told me afterwards he had just forgotten and had planned to put them in himself, but forgot. OOPS. They told us to get an estimate for repairing the washing machine and they would refund us, ha! They gave us a firm quote for how much the move would cost and on moving day they tried to charge more than that. We resisted because the contract we signed said it was a firm quote. They showed up with the wrong size and too small of trucks because they didn’t reserve the right size beforehand. Left behind so much of our stuff and promised to reimburse us for it. They didn’t. They assured us they would wrap our pictures well. When our pictures arrived they had all been shoved in boxes next to each other and glass had broken, paint was rubbed off, and so many dents and dings on over 30+ pictures. The wrapping material was hilariously just shoved into other boxes and not even used! We had an agreed upon departure date. The day of the move they asked us if they could leave two days earlier. Gave a confusing reason as to why. We were selling the house we were moving out of and had a lot to do in it beforehand and were planning on using those two extra days to get the house ready since we were moving out of state. We accommodated them, left two days early and had to scramble to find people to take care of our house. They changed their minds and left two days later anyway! We paid $8,000’ish for them to pack our things and move them and it was a disaster from start to finish. After they left behind so many of our things, it took them a month to ship us some of it and it all arrived crushed. It was only wrapped in saran wrap, so when it arrived it was completely destroyed it so all of those things were ruined. SARAN WRAP, I kid you not for shipping a pallet across the country. Nothing inside the saran wrap was wrapped or boxed. They took out all the hardware for a gorgeous trellis we had, put the hardware in a baggie….and then didn’t seal the baggie. So, all those screws were thrown everywhere and long gone by the time it arrived. The trellis arrived bent and warped anyway, so oh well. The rest of the stuff they left behind they told us they would reimburse us for and of course never did. Meanwhile we were trying to sell our house and it had all our items they had left behind in it and we had to hire someone to go pile it all up in the garage. Not to mention the RNR workers left behind nasty cigarette butts scattered all over in our old driveway as well as our new driveway. When I spoke with one of the owners on the phone about them leaving our stuff behind he had the audacity to tell me they would “eat the cost” of shipping our left behind items to us, as if it was somehow our fault that they underestimated what we had and showed up with the wrong size trucks. On estimate day we walked around with one of the owners and were very clear about what we had in our house. Oh, let me tell you about our two beautiful crystal chandeliers they assured us that they would build a custom crate for to transport. The chandeliers were not wrapped in ANYTHING. Instead, they got transported in the front seats of the moving vans! They arrived with crystals broken off and chipped in multiple places. We are seriously so shocked they receive such positive reviews because we did not have one positive aspect with RNR. We understand them not reimbursing us for the $1,500+ damage to all of our items because of the insurance we purchased, but them not reimbursing us for all the items they left behind and the items they shipped us being ruined is completely unacceptable. Plus, where is the line for complete negligence? Like the chandeliers and the washing machine? Not to mention we think they stole quite a bit from our garage when they went back to pick up some of the things to ship back to us. We don’t have proof, but they were the only ones that had a way into the house. We went back to the house to pick some things up that could fit into our car to be driven to our new home and they were missing. This included a brand new propane tank and multiple nice metal garden stakes. The only missing were things that could easily be returned for money. Like I said, we don’t have proof, but they were the only ones with access. DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR MOVE! If you do, purchase the highest insurance you can get, otherwise prepare for your items to literally be thrown into a truck and they have no liability for it. We will never use RNR again, and have turned so many of our contacts away from them when they saw what happened in our move. We will never recommend them. For a little laugh…pull up their google reviews and see that a Matthew Campbell reviewed the company and gave it 5 stars. Coincidence? Makes me think some of their other reviews might be fake as well...
