It went great. Mr. Marquez and his crew arrived promptly, removed the old sidewalk, prepared the forms and poured the new sidewalk. After it set, they returned, removed the forms and cleaned up the work site. I was impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. The new sidewalk looks attractive.

The roofing went well but the interior painting was sketchy. A hole that had come through in our bathroom and was leeking water was poorly patched, and one year later came through again. This year another employee, Shawn May, came out three mornings in a row to redo the patch and fix the hole. We are very pleased with his work. Thank you, Shawn.

He did a great job. He just has one partner.

The doorway is no  more, with a trace that it ever existed.  His wall texture work matched the existing texture perfectly.  Wisely, he saved the door trim and used it as the new baseboard, perfectly matching our existing baseboards without staining them. He painted the entire room, but painted extra coats over freshly textured areas. They normally require a little more paint due to the absorption rate of the new texture.
The 1/2 bath is tiled and I could not imagine a better job. He put great care in the planning of the layout, as well as the selection of the appropriate grout.  It is PERFECT and we could not be more pleased.
He also installed a flow-thru wall vent between the 1/2 bath and the laundry room.  It is perfectly placed and functioning. This was not part of the original work discussed but he was happy and able to accommodate my request.
Before painting, he removed the old light fixture in the 1/2 bath and prepared for the installation of the new light fixture. This preparation involved moving the wires  to a different location 8 or 9 inches away. This would involve leaving a hole where the wiring previously came through the wall.  He moved the wiring, skillfully made the previous hole invisible, and installed the new fixture in the prefect location.  This whole light fixture thing was not part of the original work either, but again he was happy and able to accommodate.
He and his assistant taped and painted the 1/2 bath and laundry room. Some pre-paint cleaning was necessary in the 1/2 bath.  After painting, each and every edge was carefully siliconed before the blue tape was removed; so the lines at the woodwork are perfect. Areas of new texture were painted multiple times.
They discovered and quickly dispatched the two leaks while accomplishing the work they were contracted to do. He did not charge me for the labor to accomplish the repairs, only the parts.  I was so pleased with those repairs that I added and extra $54 to his fee.  His proactive approach saved me from bigger problems down the road.
They were prompt each morning, stayed very busy for 2 1/2 days.  Sergio and his assistant were good communicators and Sergio has what I call "practical vision" .....he can figure things out and expedite small problems very well.  They left the work site fairly clean each evening and VERY CLEAN when they finished the job. 
We have more work in mind for Sergio and Edgar.
