I highly recommend David Bullock. He did a superb job of making my old sewing machine like new again. His price is reasonable and he did exactly what he promised to do at exactly the time he promised.

We had set an appointment for the next day and I had to cancel since I misread my work schedule. I called to reschedule and he was able to come the same day. He picked up my machine and promptly returned it in 2 days. He serviced, cleaned, oiled, made all the buttons / knobs work. Since I barely know how to sew and just took a class to learn how to sew, he showed me how to care for my machine, how to use my machine [what the buttons / knobs were for] and how to properly thread my machine.
Since my machine is an older machine, I asked if it was even worth fixing since you can purchase a new portable machine for under $100. He said I had a good machine one made of metal and it was worth having it cleaned.
I am very pleased with my newly serviced machine.

I waited to write my review till I used my machine again to make an outfit. My machine now runs like it hasn't in years!! I have had a tune-up on it periodically but it never ran as smooth as it did after David tuned it up!! It was also great not having to take it out of the cabinet and lug it somewhere. I highly recommend his service!!!

This guy is absolutely phenomenal. I expected him to be good, but he far exceeded and quot;goodand quot;. When I first called him, he told me what he needed me to do to prepare for the service appointment. We set a date and time. When he was running a few minutes late, he called and told me when to expect him. He was extremely professional. Arrived with his tool bag and a vehicle full of parts and such and proceeded to take every one of my machines apart, clean them, adjust them, put in new needles, made sure I was threading the machines properly, sewed some tests on each one for my inspection and visited with me throughout the service call letting me know what he was finding and what he was doing. All my machines run today just as they did when they were brand new - and all my machines are at least 20 years old. His prices are extremely reasonable especially when compared with taking your machine to your dealer for repairs. I had a number of machines of different brands - he fixed them all in about 2 1/2 hours and I didn't have to go anywhere or be without my machines for days at a time.
I can't say enough good things about David Bullock. He is an absolute wonder. It is very difficult these days to find someone who obviously knows their trade inside and out and loves what they are doing - David does. I would recommend him to anyone and will be using no one else from now on.

Machine would not move needle but turned on. He tried to look inside but could not find problem. He took it home and discovered a broken needle wedged in base. Brought it back in one week all oiled and cleaned. Runs so smoothly now, love it!

David Bullock runs the business. He makes home visits. It is more convenient than taking the machine over to him. My mother-in-law was a quilter. When she passed away, my daughter got her sewing machine. So, he came out and serviced the machine. He oiled it and set it right, five years ago. Later, I called him again because my daughter could not get the machine in gear. He came out and fixed that, seven months ago. I spent about $65 on the job. I would recommend him because he comes to me. He is a nice guy and he seems to know what he is doing. Both the times, he did what he said he was going to do. The machine worked great after he left. He did great. His price was fair considering he came to me. He showed up on time and was very patient with my husband while he asked the questions. He answered all his questions. My daughter had taken the machine apart. When he came out and saw what she had done. He was really surprised when he saw the machine in pieces. He talked with her for quite a while and he was really nice. He made her feel good that she was not afraid of the machine and that she was willing to take it apart. He was great. He was very professional. I will continue to use his services in the future.
