I have never had such a horrible experience with a CPA in my entire life! I moved to this area two years ago and made the unfortunate decision to use Gary Leonard's office for my tax prep and filing. Last year after paying them for their services, nearly three months went by and I still hadn't received my refund. I called many times asking if they were sure they had filed my return and was guaranteed they had filed and weren't very happy that I was questioning them. I contacted the IRS to be told my return was NEVER filed. When I confronted Gary Leonard's office with this the girl made up some excuse that they must have had storms that day and it must have interrupted my efiling. I stupidly decided to use them again this year and now it has been 55 days since my taxes were filed and no return. From what the IRS site claims, there is something wrong with my return but Leonard's office continues saying nothing is wrong. Now, I'm going to have to travel two hours to a local IRS office.
