Bob Kleuser Construction

It was terrible. I wouldn't hire them at all. They came out in 2010 and the job finished up in 2012. It took them way too long and they charged way too much. He had sorry workmen and he hired his family and they tell him what they will and will not do. Some of them were teenagers and he just doesn't have control of his company. He had too many things going on and did not supervise the job and that falls to the homeowner. He was terrible. We had to let him go and we had to hire somebody else to finish it. He's in late 50's and he doesn't seem to have the personality to get control of his business. We let him go in 2011 because it was going nowhere and we had to hire somebody else. He came recommended. I think he's losing it mentally and losing it health-wise. The fact that he has hired all family, everybody thinks they're lost and they already did take the hold and take over. They come late to the job site, like they might arrive at 9:00 but it takes them 30 minutes to strap on their tool belts and an hour later, they're sitting down taking their mandatory 10:30 break and that lasts 30 minutes. It's just a bad deal. I don't think anybody would want to be mixed up in it. He's still in Woodward, OK and he may still be trying to do this sort of work but I certainly wouldn't ever hire him again. I think their price was too expensive. They wanted to charge $30 an hour no matter what their expertise is. Even the people who were just learning wanted to get $30 an hour as well. No one else should hire them. They're out of our lives and I wouldn't even want to see them again.

Bob Kleuser is a 50ish carpenter who hires his family mostly.  Bob has decided to oversee and doesn't pick up a hammer anymore.  The "kids/adults" have only the experience that he has provided.  They outnumber him and outvote him on all questions pertaining to "the right thing to do in the case of a dispute." He appears to have lost control of his company. Mind you, the kids are of the entitlement generation.  They will arrive on a job at 9:30am and at 10:00am will have their toolbelts on and by 10:30am are taking their mandatory break and sitting down for 30 minutes.  They all charge $25. to #30./ hour.  Bob Kleuser also takes on as many jobs as he possibly can and will leave each customer waiting until they are mad.  Then and only then does he do enough to placate them and goes on to placate the next mad customer. In our case he also hired a sorry drug addicted man to finish cabinets and this man almost ruined the cabinets which had to be stripped and refinished.  Bob does not oversee his people like he should.  I have to say that I am more than glad to be rid of this disaster of a crew and would never hire them again!!
