 + -1 moreEverything looked good, they cleaned up as much as they could, replanted shrubs that had to be dug up.
Description of Work: I had a crack down one outside wall on my brick. Mike came out and explained the situation and showed me what needed to be done. They installed three piers and completed it in a half a day.

Description of Work: Had foundation issues, Mike came out and recommended a structural engineer to inspect and verify placement of piers. 8 piers placed in one day even through heavy rainstorm.

 + -1 moreThe subject of piers was a new learning experience for me. I leaned heavily on the reviews the company had received. I hired Mike to place the number of piers he estimated I needed. In fact I told him to add one pier after I saw how and where they were being installed. Based on what I learned from other people, the cost of the work was reasonable. The two things that were important to me was that Mike did what he agreed to do when he said he would and also his Lifetime Transferable Warranty.

 + 0 moreThe experience was excellent. The guy was the owner and I guess he had two or three helpers there. I think they used steel piers as opposed to the concrete kind. It took about six hours for them to do it.
Description of Work: I used Second Opinion Foundation Repair for foundation repair. They put in about 10 piers which gave support to the house.

 + -1 moreMichael came out to my home for foundation repair services. From the initial phone call he was very courteous and knowledgable regarding his specialty. He was on time to the appointment and kept me informed throughout the day on the progress of the job. When I returned home after work I noticed an immediate difference and that my floor looked much more even. He did a great job on my 110yr old home and the price was also very fair. I have already referred him to a co-worker and will use his company if I ever need foundation services again.

Description of Work: What a wonderful refreshing experience. I'd had some estimates a few years ago that turned out to be way too high, and, not for the work that my house actually needed. I trust(ed) the owner of 2nd Opinion from the outset, and nothing has changed my mind. | He's worked for others and knows the field. Now in his own business he's booming, by word of mouth, and by providing what the homeowner needs and no more, with no extras and no scare tactics. The several estimates I had after his were much higher, and for more than I needed done. He could have padded his estimate along the way but continued to assure me that we were doing all that was needed. In the end, the job cost less than the estimate because he was able to use materials already under the house, that had just become loose. For that I'm grateful and whole heartedly recommend him to others. | The only "B" I've given him is for how long it took, on occasion, for phone and text to be answered, during our planning process. I rarely give someone perfect scores anyway, because I want others to know that I'm really meaning the "As" that I give. Second Opinion earned their A!!! | He's a busy busy guy, for good reason. And we did the work on the day we planned, in record time, for less that originally estimated. | HOW PERFECT IS THAT?????
