Bob came out to give me an estimate on a 20 X 20 Carport. He had plenty of color charts and designs from the company he buys his material from. I told him I needed to do some wood siding repair and trim work on the area over the garage. This had to be done before the Carport was to be installed. When Bob came out on the estimate, he told me about a new concept he had done on a few other Carports. This was to use Cedar Beams and Cedar Support Posts instead of the aluminum beams and posts. I asked him where one of that design was located at, and it was only about 3 miles from my home. We loaded up in his car and he took me to see it so I could get a better idea of what he was talking about. When we got to the house where it was installed, we got out to get a closer look at what he had been telling me about the design. He explained everything in detail about the install and answered all my questions. I knew right then and there that was the design I wanted. Since I had a new Cedar Privacy Fence installed, this Carport was really going to interact with the Cedar Fence. Another element of the Carport that Bob pointed out, was the absence of down-spouts for the rainwater to run down. The openings for rainwater were there, but having no down-spouts gave the Carport a cleaner look and complimented the house in a better way. Bob told me he would put the down-spouts in at no charge if I wanted them. Also I put a clear sealer on the Cedar Beams & Posts which really brings out the quality of the structure. Bob and his crew of 2 other installers took about 5 hours to put the Carport up. They were very diligent in making sure everything measured out correctly before it was screwed together or anchored down. I would have no problem using Tulsa Patios again when I'm ready for a Patio Cover on the back of the house. ** Also Tulsa Patios phone number has changed to....... 918-637-9646
