Absolutely one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with hands down. We have had a faulty sensor since shortly after our system was installed (purchased through Titan Alarms, another awful company) and have contacted both Titan and Brinks directly and still no replacement sensor. We were told months ago they would send us a replacement yet nothing. After multiple phone calls to both companies we will now be pursuing breach of contract and terminating our plan. I would highly recommend ADT or a DIY home security system over Brinks.

I've been with TNT going on 9 years now. The first several years they provided great service and I would of recommended them to anyone needing home security service. Not anymore. Ever since ASG Security bought them out the service has been horrible. I had a very basic wireless system install back 2006 that hasn't been upgraded in nine years, since TNT has merged with ASG the price has consistently risen every year. In that time, total increase of 35%. I've try to talk to them on several occasions and haven't had any resolution. It took me four different attempts to cancel my services with them. The first three times, I sat on hold for over 10 minutes each time waiting to talk with a Retention Specialist. Each of those times having to leave a message with no return call from them. That's another thing, When I first signed with TNT the company was locally base. I had quick responses when the alarm was set off. Now since merged with ASG, when the alarms goes off there is always a 3 to 4 min. delay before they call. I believe this is due to the call center being located in Texas. The Retention Specialist was located in Maryland. Only the salesmen are locally base. Save yourself and a lot of headache and use another company for your security services.

We have had TNT Security as our residential alarm provider for about four years. For the first two years we were very happy with them. We began to encounter problems with their service and their representatives soon after they merged with ASG Security. Our alarm system quit communicating with them over the phone line about a year ago. We repeatedly called to have them come fix the issue. They came out, but stated it was the phone company's fault each time, after only a brief visit. We had the phone company come out multiple times, as well, and each of their service reps. said the alarm system was the problem. We have had zero problems with our landline, so the phone company's input only made sense. Each time we shared the feedback with TNT, all they would offer to do was to switch us to a far more expensive plan for a lot more cost. Finally, we caved in and agreed to have them upgrade us to a wireless alarm notification system. Three days after we requested the service upgrade, we still hadn't heard from a TNT service or customer service rep. We then called the corporate number on their website and were treated very, very rudely. That was the last straw. We then requested our service be cancelled. Never once did they apologize or try to keep our business. This was very disappointing, as years ago they were a good alarm company.

Well, it should have been a clue when I first got it installed. The earliest they could install it was 3wks form the time they came and looked at my home (it was the busy season--always is). It has been working good until it stopped 2 days ago. I called in the evening (around 7pm) when I first realized it wasn't working and was told they could not get out for 1 week, but told me to call back during business hours the next day (8am-5pm) and they may be able to do something sooner. I called around 8:30am and talked with a couple different people including the manager and I was told there was nothing more they could do than make me wait the week (its the busy season again), but they will put me on a and quot;reserve listand quot; though just in case someone cancels.
On the plus side for them, when the system was installed, they were professional, showing up when they said they would (even thought the soonest it could be was 3wks). They installed the system without any issues and they have called promptly during the 2 false alarms I have had since. They did not respond to my last false alarm and that was when I discovered the cellular part of the alarm was down.
Here's my issue. From what I could gather by talking with them, a cellular card failed in the device. After talking to them it sounds like they put an older version in, when they are now using a different(faster) version. I only had my system installed 4mo ago, so I figure they cut a corner there knowingly putting old, outdate and phased out hardware in my system.
My take home from this is:
1) They used to be very good and very prompt with service, but they have grown and have merged with or were bought by ASG... If you want prompt service, call other companies to see how quickly they can get you installed before just going with TNT out of old habit like I did when I moved.
2) If you do go with TNT, there fancy newest device is not necessarily reliable. I liked the old systems we had because they just worked. If you have a good older system, really think about it before you upgrade because you are upgrading to a computer which has technical failures and has been proven to me now that it is glitchy.
3) If you do go with TNT and their new fancy device, then make sure they install newer (ATand T or Verizon) cards in them, not the older (T-Mobile) card.

They were very competitively priced. They use state of the art equipment, it's wireless, so it was able to go in really easily with our house that was built in the 50's. The person who installed it was very professional and kind. We really like the system itself. We were very pleased with their service and particularly their price because we've gotten with another estimate that was almost twice that much.

The gentleman that installed the product was very professional and knowledgeable. He was in our home for a few hours and was effecient, poliet, positive and overall it was a great experience. Apparently we had a very convoluted system installed during building and he had to spend extra time getting things in order. He did and with a smile on his face.

The representatives that came out to the house were professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. We've set off the alarm once since activation, and received a prompt call to check on the situation. So far, we are pleased with the experience and service.

Not the cheapest monitoring, but they have a fast response time once an alarm goes off. Every time mine has been set off accidentally I have gotten a phone call from them within about 2 minutes.

We have had no problems with it. As our house has been settling we have had a couple false alarms nothing major though.

We appreciate that we don't have to have a land line to have the security system. We can go through our cell phones. All of the personnel we have cam in contact with were really awesome. The guy who came out and set us up was very personable and I really liked his customer service skills. As far as their rates we feel like we are not getting ripped off or anything like that. We felt like their prices are reasonable compared to the other companies. We like that it is a Oklahoma headquaters company and not a company from another state. We like that it is in a local area. We have accidentally set the alarm off and they are always very quick at responding and never have charged us extra for doing that. They are always friendly and I haven't ever had any complaints about the.
