Update: Wes is NOT the owner of Sooner Recon. His specialty is roofing, nothing else. Although he’ll tell you he can handle everything. Noticed a water leak where he had been working with hvac and duct work last. Pictures tell it all. I also received 2 very nasty text messages when I called him out on his work. He was highly unprofessional and I’m sure I’ll post that text when I feel I want to. I contacted the actual owner. She seemed very nice but wanted both sides of the story. Kinda confusing. I’m the customer. I don’t just wake up one day and decide to call out of the blue. Well pictures don’t lie. Now I have a full demo going on due to details that a professional would have noticed. It could have easily been repaired the first time. He noticed moisture in the attic but chose not to tell me until months later when I asked.

Sooner Recon arrived on time with a full crew and all necessary supplies and equipment. The crew of workers were punctual and professional every day they were there. They cleaned up each day as they went along. The work they did was very good and we have not had one problem with our roof since they did their work. Our experience with Sooner Recon was wonderful from the first meeting with their salesperson and any questions we had were answered quickly and professionally. I have recommended this company to my neighbors and family members and they have all thanked me for the recommendation.

When we decided we needed a new roof we first approached a large warehouse chain, because they were having a deal where we could pay over a long period of time, and not have to pay for everything upfront.  
After discussing it with them they sent out a independent roofer that they highly recommended. He gave a quote on how much it would cost.  After he left my wife and I went to our insurance company to see if our insurance would still cover it. Come to find out they would. They sent out the gentlemen who looked over everything and about a week later we got an estimate of how much it would cost.  
While at our insurance agents office, our agent recommended Sooner/Recon (the insurance company itself highly recommends Sooner/Recon), she asked if we would like to talk with him and while sitting there she called him.  We chatted with him for a few minutes to give him directions to our home and set up a day for our FREE consultation. 
He came out, looked over the roof and recommended using a 35 year shingle for only a couple hundred dollars more and was a lot better shingle. He gave us his estimate and left. We were impressed with his relaxed nature and his knowledge of the roofing business. 
We called our insurance agent and told her we were going with Sooner/Recon.
On the day  they were to arrive they were late because of getting their truck stuck in the mud at the dump (It had rained a few days before their arrival), but he did call and let us know he was going to be late.
Overall, my wife and I would highly recommend using Sooner/Recon.
