Shelton Quality Service

I was referred to Shelton through the Whirlpool Class Action suit and was advised they would schedule service. Since this is a class action suit, you would think that after waiting for 2 days the tech would come out with the necessary parts to make the repair. NO! First, I was told he would be at my home between 12-3. So I made arrangements for someone to sit at my house and wait for him. At 3:15, I called the office and was told he would be there shortly. He called at 3:23 and told me he would be at my home within 15-20 minutes. At 4:07, I received a call that he had finally tripped into my house (I don't even have steps) and he needed to ask me what the problem was. I thought that was why I called HIM there to begin with, to diagnose the problem. However, I received NO diagnosis whatsoever from him. He called me back at 4:13 to then tell me he would have to order a part so I would be without my refrigerator for another 3-5 days and then he would come back out and charge me labor fees to install the part. If I chose to do his work and drain my refrigerator prior to his arrival he would only charge an additional $40. Then he tried to write the ticket for an additional $75. This is after I had already paid him $90 cash for a 6 minute trip into my house. RIP OFF!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS!!! I work as a Quality Manager and this is NOT Quality Service!

I couldn't have asked for better and I have been having appliance repairs for decades! I feel fortunate that it was Shelton who they sent to us. I will call him first from now on.

I have never had a more professional and considerate repair experience in my 70+ years! Never. I would absolutely HIGHLY recommend this company. Their effort to please the customer is better than any appliance company I have EVER dealt with. Great service and results.

I always ask for service tech Aaron because he has always done a wonderful job in the past. As usual,he figured out the problem and knew exactly what was needed. He's always professional, friendly, and skilled.

Sheltons Quality Service does provide quality prompt service but at very expensive price.



I checked the price of the exact part they replaced on-line. The part cost $28. My bill was about $200. Therefore, I was charge about $170 for labor! The technician took about 15 minutes to install the part. Again, Sheltons Quality Service does provide quality service, but they are very, very expensive.

I am not sure I will be using them again.

They were punctual and professional, and they were good!

The first day he checked what the problem was and ordered the parts.
We had to reschedule for him to come back and put on the part. We thought he would be back later that day or first thing the next morning. It didn't work out that way.
After we rescheduled, he came back and worked on our machine again.
He thought the problem was fixed and he left.
Later, that day when we tried to use the washing machine, we had the same problem.
This was on a Wednesday night and we called first thing Thursday morning.
We didn't get him back to fix the problem until the following Monday. They said they were short staffed, he was out of town, and they didn't work on Saturdays.
I was frustrated that we had to wait so long to get our washing machine fixed.

I had my ice maker replaced and while still in warranty it broke again. Some parts were covered but not the labor. Shelton's compamy did a good job....but I will probably never fix or buy another Samsung large appliance again. They should have covered the labor costs, not me.

The receptionist was very sympathetic and did not make me feel like the fool I truly was. Shelton and his co-worker were pleasant, yet professional. They made sure the dryer, which is stacked on top of the washer in a very tight space, was positioned just perfectly. Before they left, they made sure the dryer sounded normal. And it did. I believe the price was fair ($82 for the service call and $29.90 for labor), and I feel after spending almost $112.00, I will not make the same mistake twice. I have already told seven people about the outstanding service I received. and quot;Providing service to people, not just machinesand quot; is printed on on the invoice. I couldn't agree more!

I was very pleased with the entire job. The tech was timely and very professional. The work was done in a very good manner.

The technician came out and looked at the issue. He initially told me that based on the part that was out it would probably require me to just get a new washing machine. However he took the part with him and said he would try to fix it. 2 or 3 days later he came back out with the repaired part and put it back in the machine. It worked fine and has been working since.

I called on 11/6/12 and he was out the next day on time. He was very professional and polite. I explained the problems and he was immediately ready to take a look. He found the wiring on my dishwasher had a bad connection and fixed it. He then went ahead and started a new cycle while he was looking at the cook top to ensure that the dishwasher was working correctly. He found the switch on my cook top was fried and after a quick phone call said he would go get the part and be back in 30 minutes. He was back in 20 minutes and quickly made the repair. He then went back to the dishwasher and found everything to be in good working order. Shelton was awesome and I would recommend his company to anyone. I will not use anyone else.

It went very well - quick, efficient, and cost effective.

They were very reasonable in price. The gentlemen went out of his way to help us that day. He was prompt worked with us very nicely.

I have a service contract with them. I didn't want to hear that I needed a new refrigerator. I give them an "A" overall.

microwave now works. Cost 150 so about as much as a new microwave but we liked our old one so we fixed it. They figured out the problem, gave a good estimate, fixed it on time and it has worked for 3 months with no problems. Expensive but quality work

We heard about them through the manufacturer of our appliances. We have used them for many years.

I called for an appliance repairman. I was told the cost of the visit. However, the cost of the visit was considerably higher than quoted because "I had two separate appliances." I would not have had this service if I had known the cost was $123.00 which I had not expected and had not been told about. In the end nothing was done, or perhaps, couldnot be done.

The motor was replaced for the ice maker. I know that they are busy and if you have problems you will have to wait a little. Because they are so well liked, they remain super busy.
