We have done 5 or 6 mortgages in our lifetime and this was by far the easiest, most pleasant experience ever! We received prior to the appointment a list of items to bring in with us, then, we spent approximately 30 minutes in Greg's office. We.received one email on additional items needed and then closed in less than 30 days. Greg attended the closing with us and noticed in the huge stack of papers we had to sign that two were missing. The closing company printed those and we signed them before we left. We were given a thumb drive with our documents on it and were out of there in less than one hour. The previous mortgage we did took weeks, many calls, a lot of searching for documents and I ended up having to close with a power of attorney after my husband deployed. We started the process long before his deployment but the it was a cumbersome, painful, drawn out ordeal. We will ALWAYS use Greg Freeman at Scissortail and urge everyone to call him first!
