On a positive note, the steps are not pulling away from the porch.
I do live on a hill and have unstable soil, but this was discussed before the installation.
My driveway was 14 years old and had some long cracks and surface chipping. I contacted Brian and thought his estimate to replace my driveway and patio was reasonable.
within 6 months, I had very long cracks in my driveway where they had been before. I also had new areas of cracks right near my garage door. When I contacted Brian, he came out and looked at the driveway and merely blamed it on the Oklahoma soil. It was apparent to me that there were (2) and quot;poursand quot; of concrete used and each one was different. there were no cracks in the area of the second pour. Brian said the only thing that could be done was to take a and quot;core sampleand quot; of the concrete to measure its strength and the last time he did that, it cost him $2500. So, he wasn't about to do that again.
I have since had to pay about $3500 to have my driveway and quot;sealedand quot; but they don't guarantee that the cracks won't spread. Brian's crew also left my backyard completely torn-up from the Bobcat they used and there was a lot of and quot;over-pourand quot; never removed so, grass does not grow back up against my patio.
I am very disappointed and would not recommend him to anyone.
