 + -1 moreAfter giving them the symptoms over the phone, they opined a diagnosis and estimated cost to be $99-$149. tech came out and found diagnosis was correct and informed me the cost would be $309. After I protested the mgr said he did not know how I got such a low estimate. He was the same mgr that gave me the estimate! He also said he would do it for $149. Too late. I informed them I would do business with anyone who even tried to rip me off. Tech tried to convince me that the door was out of balance and the spring needed to be tightened @$200 ea. (2). Unfortunenately for him I own several pieces of property and know that the door was balanced perfectly. Tech tried to convince me that the little $5 nylon gear that was broken in the opener cost $129 (poppycock). Only a fool would hire these guys. I ended up buying a new opener at Lowes for $128 and installing it myself.
Description of Work: garage door opener needed repair.
