MILLCREEK KITCHENS

Millcreek did my granite counters about 3 years ago. The sales part was average, but installation was really disappointing, rate a D. My home is 20 years old, custom built by a known architect here, and has Rambo solid wood cabinets. They didn't want to install on my cabinets because and I quote "we usually install in new houses". My Rambo cabinets are solid wood. My husband came home, and he himself added a small shim (about 3 inches by 1 inch, to one cabinet (1/8" thick shim), which I do not see how that would matter at all!   After he did this, then they agreed to proceed (ridiculous!). My cabinets are more solid than the MDF and wood composite products they install on all the time in new homes!   Their issue was the cabinets were 'old and not new',  They left a couple of places nicked, then didn't want to give a warranty after the fact!   My husband, an attorney, convinced them they had to.  We later learned that our friends used them and had the same concern with them installing on their existing cabinets, stating they were 'old'.  Hopefully they have improved in this area in the past year or so!   That said, we have not had any problems with the cabinets bearing the counter weight, or anything. The one positive is that they did have several granite choices to pick from at least.  I would definitely use Granite Transformations or Agee instead of Millcreek.

We were very happy with their work. They were very professional and did what my wife told them to do. Their price was competitive too.

The were quite expensive for what we wanted. We gave them a pre-done design for their estimate. We didn't use them for the remodel because we felt we got exceptional pricing and service elsewhere.

2 weeks took 2 months.  Counters had to be taken back because of several mistakes.

The quality of the workmanship and the price was good. However their internal communication and follow up were bad.

My experience with Millcreek Kitchens was positive.  I only had some laminate put down on the cabinets so the person who came out brought in everything.  He got to work right away.  He was on time.

We used them because of their reputation, recommendations, and price. People that used them before were very happy with them. I would recommend them because they had a good price and they did good work.

I went with them because of their price and customer service.

They did a great job. I worked with Kevin. He is the consultant for countertops and cabinets. He was very helpful. He was very willing to work with a limited budget. Most kitchen places in town, I could not say that about.
