Mc Lean Chimney & Air Duct Co

The cleaning and coating process went well but took longer than we anticipated due to issues uncovered. in 2017, I sold my house and the buyers wanted a couple of repairs done on the ducts. McLean stood behind their service, even though I couldn't find my receipt. They found a record of having done the work so they came out and repaired the issue without charge. This is a good family company providing a good service and standing behind their work.

I hired this company to clean out my dryer vents, and after they cleaned them I noticed my dryer wasn't drying at all. I called and was told that someone was on their way right then only to wait all day and no one ever called or showed(I called a couple times) until 4:30 , and that was only to tell me they would be there the next morning.  The next day the owner,Tim Mclean, ended up coming to my home with no tools and a very arrogant attitude.  When he pulled my vent away from my dryer and it was full of water he tried to give me my money backing instead of fixing the problem they created. He ended up sending someone to blow it out with an air compressor.  That person told me I might have a hole, because I still had bad air flow.  Mclean was the only one who had ever touched it since the house was built. I have had condensation ever since.  It has been only about a month since their first visit and now I have what appears to be mold forming around the opening and the owner will not do anything.  Tim Mclean is extremely rude and belligerent on the phone and even once tried to lie to my husband and say he never came to our home, and that he never sent anyone back out with an air compressor.  He refuses to admit that our ducts were completely dry when his tech came the first time even though the tech himself admits it, and coworkers heard him admit that it was all completely dry.  Tim has admitted that if i hadn't called him back our dryer would have burnt up and he would have been responsible, but then he denied it.  Tim Mclean even admitted that his tech did not do a good job cleaning the duct because when he himself came out afterwards he got a bucket of water out, but he told me to prove it. He asked me if I had pictures.  This has cost us hundreds of dollars and dealing with this owner has been mind boggling. He is extremely dishonest, rude, and refuses to take responsibility for his business's error.

After service was completed, we noticed much damage that was done to our home. Owner of the company stated that he would be by a few days later to repair, but never called or showed. We've now had to resort to getting $300 worth of repairs to our home. I personally do not recommend this company to anyone.

They were on time, did a good job of reviewing the work to be done and they cleaned a couple more air ducts than were on the original estimate. They also educated my husband on our ducts, the process they were doing and the general condition of our duct system.

There was some confusion about the arrival time because they were working me in at the last minute, but once they arrived the work was completed quickly and done well. They cleaned up after themselves and I was very pleased with their work.

I HAVE NEVER HAD A COMPANY WORK AS EFFICIENTLY AS THEY DID. THEY WERE VERY POLITE PEOPLE AND THEY KNOW HOW TO DO BUSINESS. I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID.

THEY DID A SUPERB JOB CLEANING OUT THE DUCTS IN MY HOME. THEY CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY, SO I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM A SHOT. THEY ARE A WONDERFUL GROUP OF PEOPLE.

I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE ON TIME AND DID THE JOB RIGHT. MY VENTS BLOW SO MUCH MORE THAN THEY DID.

THE MEN DID GREAT WORK AND WERE DONE QUICKLY. SINCE THEY CAME OUT MY SYSTEM WORKS PERFECTLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THE PRICE WAS GOOD FOR SERVICE THEY PROVIDED.

THEY CAME IN AND DID A SWELL JOB. THEY MADE SURE THE DUCTS WERE THOROUGHLY CLEANED. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. I LIKE THE WAY THEY TREATED US WHEN THEY CAME OUT.

I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS PARTICULAR COMPANY. THEY DID A REALLY THOROUGH JOB. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL, AND PRECISE. PLUS THEY DIDN'T LEAVE A HUGE MESS, AFTER THEY WERE DONE WITH THE JOB.

THEY WERE PROMPT ARRIVING AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE PRICES WERE WITHIN REASON AND THE AIR DUCTS ARE VERY CLEAN. I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN WHEN THE AIR DUCTS NEED CLEANED.

I HAVEN'T HAD SUCH GREAT SERVICE FOR A LONG TIME. THEY COME IN, GET STARTED RIGHT AWAY, AND DON'T OVER-CHARGE YOU FOR THE WORK THAT THEY ARE DOING. VERY PROFESSIONAL.
