Work was OK but I was overcharged. Work was done on an hourly rate for 2 electricians agreed to in advance; never mentioning that the number of hours not equal the number of hours actually worked at my home. For example, MC Electric agreed to accept delivery of light fixtures, never mentioning that they would charge for this service (if they had, I would have sent the fixtures to family living nearby). MC Electric accommodated late change to install date which was appreciated. However, when the bill arrived it was for more hours than the electricians actually worked for both days. When I questioned the second day as the overcharge was significant (I was billed for 8 hours and they worked at the house about 6), it took MC Electric more than a month to reply and then came up with a variety of excuses as to why the bill was valid. If you must use them, get a clear list of all charges in advance/detailed description of what consists work to be charged and then make your own independent time clock for time in, time in and out for lunch break, and time left each day. Tell them your own number of hours before they send an inflated bill. I won't be using them again and have found another local electrician who is of equal quality at a much lower price and who does not overcharge.

They showed up when they said they would, got in & out, & did the job well.
