tThe design was absolutely the best of several we paid to have done.  No one else came close.
Kitchen cabinets were well installed, though several re-dos had to be done due to miscommunication with the project manager.  It worked out fine, but the customer pays the installers separately and I had to complain that I was not willing to pay for the labor to fix what they messed up.  That happened a couple of times during the project.  It was not clear to me exactly what materials for the kitchen project were in the base bid and what was an add-on.  I assumed some normal materials, like base trim  was part of the deal.  Had to haggle about that.
Light placement in the ceiling was not well thought out and the electrician showed up before the plan.  Extra time was spent that cost me money.
When the floor guys got stain on the cabinets and I asked for trim to cover it, again I had to haggle about who would pay or the fix.  The always ended up being fair, but it was a nuisance.  The project manager was new and a bit inexperienced, and that caused some confusion.  But she worked hard to help out and did a nice job of helping choose counter tops, lighting, appliances, sinks, etc.  She was a great decorator, not so great at running a job.
In the end, the kitchen turned out Great, and I paid a fair price for the work that was done.  This method of each individual contractor probably saves money overall, but it needs to be made clear early in the process how screw-ups will be handled.  It's just an odd way to do business.  The workers were good overall and great to work with.
A water line leaked on/under the new wood floors and ruined a section right at the end of the job.  The plumber took responsibility and paid for the fix.  Floor guys were great at the repair
In the end, we gained a great new kitchen that we enjoy very much.  Just get all the costs clarified up front.  In the end, I settled up with them and felt I got a reasonable deal.  My guess is that the rookie project manager was part of the issue.

Cleanliness while working was terrible. Punctuality was poor. Poor attention to the budget and enforcement of pricing and controls on subcontractors was awful. quality of workmanship is a B at most. More like a C.

It was excellent overall. They're an excellent bunch of people. They did quality work and kept the job nice. They were easy to communicate with and did a very good job. The kitchen is beautiful, well designed and functional. He listened to our needs and made it better than we expected.

THEY WORKED EFFICIENTLY UNTIL THEY GOT THE JOB DONE. THEY WERE POLITE AND COURTEOUS WHILE THEY WERE IN MY HOME. I AM HAPPY THAT I HIRED THEM. I AM SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS.
